I've been following this story for a couple days, and it pisses me off to no end. This is MY tax dollars going to a CONVICTED TERRORIST! Trudeau needs to be replaced ASAP. Harper needs to come back and restore order. No, for the amount of torture he endured, its appropriate. If they simply followed Geneva Convention rules on enemy combatants, he would still be sitting in a jail. Instead they tortured a 15 year old boy for over a decade for information that he would have never had as a child soldier. They brutalized that kid pretty badly. Evidence against him with throwing a grenade at a soldier is flimsy at best.

The default 100 million dollar judgment against him was while he was still locked away being tortured....it has no validity whatsoever and if he even appealed it, it would be immediately overturned out of principle. Sharia says rape is okay as long as you rape an infidel. Child rape is okay. Women are evil and not as worthy as a man. Hell is filled with more women than men. It's okay to torture and kill gays. With that being said, there was no reason for our government to do the things we did to that kid no matter what he was accused off. Makes us no better than the terrorist. His confession was clearly under torture which makes it worthless and honestly, I hardly doubt that he threw a grenade seeing as how he was shot twice in a back and covered with rubble after the building was bombed.

Its why the legal system is fucked as well, cops have to follow rules of evidence and cases get thrown out on technicalities when the accused is obviously guilty.
