I just started back on the creatine yesturday and I had a headache most of the day yesturday which I'm sure wasn't there before I took it and not sure if I had it after the first dose or second. I decided not to take the 2 more doses for loading phase and wait for the headache to go. I Still had it slightly this morning but went off and I've just taken another dose....
Anyone here had headaches from using creatine?
It seems it does affect some people from reading online but also wondering if it's to do with the brand, it's a brand I've never used before creatine monohydrate by USN
Also does anyone actually bother with the loading phase?
-
I would recommend creatine HCL from a solid company over monohydrate.
-
Really, I thought monohydrate was the best to go for, what's the difference?
No headaches for you?

Hench you know it's 2017.
Loading hasn't been done since 1997.
I've never heard of headaches from creatine, is this your first time using it?
-
Using it for years and never had this.
You sure it isn't caffeine withdrawal headache?
-
Kidneys Hates creatine ... (specially if you're over 35)
WoSHHHHHH
-
Increase your water intake.
-
Never loaded it either, just once a day. Loading is a scam to get you to use more creatine.
-
A head ache is a sign of kidney failure.
-
I'm drinking tons of water. I've taken a dose today and haven't got a headache yet. I'll see what happens after the second dose.
@Dave D, no used it many times in the past but it's been a few years.

Your headache was not connected to the creatine
-
Maybe, but it's surprising how many people do suffer from using, they stopped it altogether and headaches subsided.

Creating raises bp so headaches would be normal.

Why would anyone take creatine?

Why would anyone take creatine?
I took it years ago and it was great for strength,I would get 5-10 more reps on certain things after a month on creating.other than that it's pretty pointless.
-
only on getbig would people ask beginner questions about creatine, the most common supplement of the last 20 years

Other than that it's pointless? Fuck me, gaining several reps due to creatine is insane. For sure worth it in that case, especially considering it costs next to nothing.
Everyone who trains should use it, tons of benefits. You are stupid if you don't.

Don't care what anyone says,it's not good for you and should be avoided.

ok, sounds like you made up your mind no matter what the evidence says.
-
Well I seem to be ok with the doses now. I've been under stress so maybe it was that instead.
I feel like I pump up much better on it too and quicker

In a local news channel , someone said " Creatine is used by athletes and bodybuilders "
Then the question followed ....
- " aren't bodybuilders athletes? "
Not they're not , they like to tell themselves they are but they aren't.

I never feel good on it either. Resting bp and pulse is higher, due to water retention.

only for those who are willing to pay the price to be the best
