Supplements are total BS and waste of money imo. They are made for ignorant, insecure and desperate people who fall for all marketing crap

BodyBuilders in the seventies ate normal and healthy and looked superior to 99% of all builders today

By eating what?

its not so much what you eat its what you dont eat

just stay away from supplements and you will grow, just like they did in the 70s

So you don't think whacking down a protein shake inbetween meals helps, giving you that bit extra?

it might help IF  it were real protein. we dont know for sure whats in these "supplements". maybe some protein maybe not. there is no regulation. its a crap shoot. your busting your ass in the gym then you slam drinks and you dont grow and in fact lose. why? maybe cuz they contain no protien . eat food. real food. you know whats in it. thats how they did it back in the day. and what few supplements that were out ( blairs) worked way better than today cuz they had real ingrediants. now days they make shit cheap dont have good ingrediants and charge a fortune. plus with blairs you mixed it with heavy cream( good fats) . real food is all you need.

Ate normal?  No, they ate crazy amounts of food, just not fart powder as much.  Pick up some old iron man magazines and look at all the crazy diets.  Serge Nubret eating 10 pounds of horsemeat, liver tablets, ferris led eggs, whole cream, it's just as nutso as now.  This was the Rocky down a couple of raw eggs era.
