My gym did a 'most reps of 50kg in 2 mins' challenge a few months back. I got 98, couldn't move my fucking arms or make a fist afterwards.

Anyone ever do high reps as a normal part of training. How did you incorporate it into your routine. I tried doing 5 sets of 12 reps for four exercises a set and found it was brutal. Another point is that I had to use really light weights. Using short rests between sets the weights I could use was almost embarrassing.

Mix it in - try doing sets of one minute instead of reps. You'll find it even more humbling, but you'll get strong / fit.
