"A landlord who late last year evicted Salon from its New York offices for nonpayment of $90,000 in back rent is now trying to force the digital publisher to pay more than $700,000 for the unused portion of a five-year lease that is slated to run through September 2019."
In New York City, you can't just evict somebody without a court order. So, it's obviously true that they're having some rent issues.

In New York City, you can't just evict somebody without a court order. So, it's obviously true that they're having some rent issues.
Salon in its entire history has never turned a profit nor does it need an office that large for a fucking website. I honestly think its some cover for another company dealing in something illegal if you ask me. It simply doesn't make any sense that the site is still running
