Fucking expensive and AFAIK it has no scientific backup. I like the effect of cold showers tho.

Exactly.  There is no real evidence or any controlled trials on it at all.

Last year we partnered with a Cryo place close to our gym to send our athletes. Long story short, it's a great gimmick, expensive as hell ($45 for 2-3mins) and little scientific research and what I've read even most of that was negative. Now, we either use pool workouts, ice baths, message and Normatech for recovery.

Thanks coach, saved me $45!

There's a place by me that has specials for $20 it's the only time I go lol. It's like 60 and month for 3x I think but still very expensive. And I don't see any short term benefits, I think you'd have to do this for an extended amount of time to see any real results but it'll be hard to tell if it work since I'd say the normal customer also does other forms of therapy stacked

Fill your tub up with cold water and ice. This takes care of all my nagging injuries. It is rough for a while, but feel great when I get out.
