There's a prediction that it will crash, possibly very soon.
"Trump is going to have a very hard time enacting any of his economic promises into laws that he can sign. And when the market figures that out—which shouldn’t be too long from now—we are in for a huge correction, just in time for autumn, when for whatever reason, the market likes to get skittish."

If Trump were to actually try to renegotiate things like NAFTA he could seriously fuck up the economy (I know Trumptards don't get this) up but it seems like his own party might have neutered him.
His first chance to really spook with the market will be the extension of the debt ceiling
Trump has defaulted on so much personal debt and he's too fucking stupid to understand how disastrous that would be for this country....even if it just looks like he's going to do that.

I forgot that Trump pulled out of the TPP
That is expected to hurt American agriculture which already produces way more than we can consume and was counting expansion of those markets

If the tax cuts don't go through there will be a small dip; other than that, I think what we are seeing is the new normal.

Lets see what happens with the debt ceiling or if Congress tries to pass a budget without paying for Trumps wall (which even he himself admits is bullshit for his brain dead followers)
One thing is 100% certain, if/when the stock market crashes or "corrects" it will be everyone's fault except Trump
He only takes credit for keeping the plane in the air while the auto pilot is activated

Bro - put your money where your mouth is - cash out now. wait till trump is out of office and then go all back in.

why would I do that. Trump gets zero credit for the current value of the stock market and sitting on cash is stupid
I already have way too much money in cash (close to 200k which even I will admit is stupid)
I don't manage my retirement account which is fully invested (I don't even look at it) and I have a few other managed investments that I look at a few times a year.

Exactly, we're on auto pilot and still floating along just fine on the Obama recovery
Trump is going to fuck things up if the Repubs can't keep him in the corner wearing the dunce cap and playing with his phone

Which investment options did you select for your 401K? What is your current rate of return? What was your average rate of return during President Obama's last 3 years in office?
Of course, your actual return depends on the plan you have, the fees you pay and the long-term performance of the stock and bond markets.
But 5% is not unrealistic, and it's a good figure to use in judging how well your account is doing.
It's easy to get dazzled by the good years and think you should be doing better.
From 2011 to 2016, mutual funds that were heavily invested in stocks — a common component of 401(k) plans — did much better than that.

Remember how you started crowing about job growth during Trumps term
It's dipshits like you that are only looking at the highlighted section of the upper right hand corner of the chart while pretending the rest of the chart doesn't exist

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in the four months before President Trump’s election, the
U.S. economy added about 840,000 jobs. In the four months since his inauguration, it’s added about
600,000.

Plenty of numb nuts claimed the US economy was doomed after Obama was elected in 2008.
LOL, the DOW went up 200% during Obama's 8 years ( 6500- 19000).
I'll give Trump some credit if the trends continue upward.
Ya gotta be fair. ;)

Obama (and the Dems) pulled us out of a nose dive and got the plane stabilized and rising so Trump isn't going to get much credit from me for keeping in on course
If he can truly revitalize manufacturing then I'll give him credit
Shit, I'm eagerly waiting to give him credit giving us the six things he promised on healthcare
1. insurance for everybody
2. no cuts to medicaid
3. no one will lose coverage
4. nobody will be worse off financially
5. no artificial lines
6. ever body is going to be taken care of
I'm ready to give him 100% credit when he gets that done.
I assume he working on this while he's on vacation

Now subtract off the cost of living increase, inflation, and propping up the market with $10 Trillion in added national debt and you MAY begin to understand why the Obama economy was the worst in our lifetime.

After 8 years of Obama my house has almost doubled in value while my mortgage payment is less than it was 8 years ago
Inflation is very low(other than housing which has benefited me)
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fed-idUSKBN1972QL
National debt is certainly an issue but that could be mitigated with increase in taxes and less spending (something that neither party seems to want to do)
Notice that debt as a % of GDP was decreasing for 30 years until Reagan got into office and we were sold the bullshit of supply side economics (and Reagans budget director has since said it was total bullshit) which of course Bush 1 famously called Voodoo Economics

This and the greatly increased number of people on public assistance.

ok, the Paris Accord as well, but everyone in the country can just ignore him on that
I'm not disagreeing with you on anything other than this. The deal that was signed was not a good deal for us. I hope he gets better terms for us and we get back in, because I believe that we should check our emissions and pollution, but as it was it was not great for us.

That was one of the best things he's done.
