I'm no Cardiologist, but heart failure is chronic and irreversible, he will need a new heart.
-
Hopefully he'll get to his next set.....cause it's still his.

Actually..it can be acute and temporary.

One guy in my gym had a heart attack about three years back and said his heart was functioning at 10-15% after it, now he's up at 35-40% function, granted it won't go highe

I don't know how you can even go in there and workout knowing that. That takes balls.

Same with my cousin. He's a heart condition for a long time but did very little of what the Dr.'s told him to do after his heart attack quiet a few years ago. last year he came close to death because just because he thought he was feeling fine..he was fine. Kept getting weaker and weaker and would start passing out. Taken to the hospital by ambulance (that he had to call after he woke up because he lives alone) was diagnosed with stage 4 congestive heart failure. Heart capacity was at 10% with acute kidney failure. He had three options. Heart/Kidney transplant, a pacemaker or die. Right now he's been on the pace maker since last year living a pretty normal life with tons of meds.

How many days until he starts curling again?

A friend of mine got a new heart over 30 years ago. Its starting to give him issues now at almost age 50, but he got it at age 20.
If CT gets one and lasts 30 years, its a win...

ct seems like a good guy so lets all hope it works out and he can go on doing what he's doing.

that's sounds like two options to me, dying isn't really an option, its a consequence.

From what I've read, half of all heart transplant patients make it to ten years.
