The only news item in recent memory that comes close is the brilliant left wing "journalist" who tweeted that the KKK had taken over a MLB game because someone in the stands was holding up KKKKKKKK to account for strikeouts.

It's going to be fun to watch NFL ratings tank this year. Pro sports have been in a secular decline before this shit started. This will just speed up the process.
The NBA playoffs did pretty well because of the marquee matchup, but regular season ratings are in a downtrend that's going to continue:

They essentially killed the golden goose. I know a guy who had season tickets to the Yankees and after they built the new stadium they almost doubled the price of his seats and he said fuck this and walked.

I used to go 5-10 games a year at least before they built the new stadium. Now if I go to one game a year its a lot. I don't give a damn whatsoever about pro "sports". Its a rip off and most of these coddled idiots are there due to genetics and little else. I'm much more impressed with individual type sports like olympics, tennis, etc -
