A lot of people actually had Dexter who placed 4th, beating Cutler who got 2nd. Then they introduced that stupid challenge round and Gustavo ended being in 3rd because he had more points in that round than Dexter.

jeez that's not even close, Dexter by a mile......
-
Dex's only flaw is his calves. Oh, also he lacks disproportion, asymmetry, a distended midsection....you know all these amazing things modern Being has been all about so we could marvel at Branch placing 2nd in 2009.

Dex is destroying Jay on quality there. He's had an unbelievable career. He must not use nearly as much as the other guys.

He guest posed for free at the right shows

I don't get why Jay would come in with fat & wrinkles on
his glutes when he knew he's going against Dex & Ronnie.
Seems he would come conditioned as possible.

Dex & Jay & the 2004 O. Last pic

Dex was a 2nd tier bodybuilder when going up against the 90's giants in their prime, like Levrone, Ray, Dillet, Wheeler, Sonbaty, Coleman, Cormier, Priest, Yates, etc, where he'd get an 8th or 9th place at best (same goes for Cutler). When they all burned out/and or retired, lesser guys like Dexter Jackson, Jay Gutler, Gunter Schlierkamp, Dennis James, King Kamali, Mike Matarazzo, Milos Sarcev, Darrem Charles, Victor Martinez, Melvin Anthony, Branch Warren, Gustavo Badell, Toney Freeman, etc, started to place higher. Those guys (Dexter included) stood NO chance against the best of the 90's. FACT.
