Every time some poor bastard--who likely didn't give a rat's ass about consequences in the first place--otherwise he'd just stop the drugs simply out of fear for his own well-being and life--croaks, hordes of people on other message boards on which mentally ill and body-dysmorphic men share their experiences in ever-increasing muscle mass, say they're going to be more careful now.
There's one board in which this phenomenon is pretty intense and it even has several member that have had organ failure and heart attacks or croaked from reckless drug use. Every few months the grim reaper either takes a life from that board or reminds them not to mess with Mother Nature by way of a health scare. So you'll read posts like, "Guys, we gotta be more careful," or "Damn, that's a shame; he was so young, had a wife, had kids... ", and "I knew him; he was such a great guy..."
But do they stop?
Never!
So how easy can it be to feel sorry for people who knowingly cause their own health conditions and deaths?
What's interesting is that a great deal of these guys don't have health insurance. Someone will say, "Why don't you get tested?" (for a blood value or other condition) and such men will sometimes answer, "I don't have health insurance."
Interesting. One can have an expensive, time-consuming hobby, involving the purchase of drugs, but at the same time have subpar employment--subpar in the sense that it doesn't even cover what's necessary for a hobby, a dangerous one no less, let alone requirements for daily living, like food and shelter--but not think about what should be prioritized over fucking muscle, of all things!
Yeah, they sure seem like they're going to be more careful. :)

BB attracts psychos, no sane person wants to be as big as possible so such things don't surprise me, female BBs and fitness chicks are even crazier

x2. The mental illness is too strong. Even if they stop temporarily, they will start again.

It's an addiction....

If anything there is a personality vacuum since Piana died. Look for a copycat soon.

They can be near death (take Don Long with his kidney or that female bodybuilder who had some extensive surgery to her intestines recently) and after they recover, they're back at it again????
Even near deaths door, they learn nothing. Because they do not want to learn, that's just how they want to live and die.

Mcgarver died from insulin.
Piana died from synthol/PMMA

I get what you're saying, but with that attitude we may as well cease all aid to all folks with addictions.
If you've never experienced a real addiction you won't grasp how controlling it becomes and how weak you feel (even if the result of the addiction is the appearance of strength).
Rich Piana and Dallas McCarver are both gone....in almost the same week. Both were absolutely addicted to bodybuilding drugs and despite Rich Piana's "good f*****g morning.....live my life on my own terms" mentality that's a product of the addiction. Dallas may never have expressed that same sentiment but he certainly demonstrated a "do whatever it takes" attitude.
Folks like this need addiction help and most likely would NEVER seek it on their own.....because they're addicts and some too proud, too ashamed or both. Simply casting them off with a "they reaped what they sowed" attitude and carrying that over to others with similar addictions while coupling it with zero compassion seems so strange to me.
I mean if help is extended repeatedly and refused repeatedly then leave them to their devices, but not all addicts still want to continue to engage in their addiction. Some may feel such a level of shame over the addiction they refuse to seek help.
The greater irony is labeling them with mental illness. We offer tremendous assistance to the mentally ill so by equating addiction with mental illness wouldn't care and compassion be implicit?
Look, I'm no expert, but a completely calloused attitude towards folks with addictions and mental illnesses is.....forgive me.....foolish.

Bunch of fucking vaginas. All the more reason to increase the dose. Life is short die big.

and your God lets all this happen, disgraceful.

Why do some of you want every post I make to become about religion?
Those conversations never end in your favor LOL.
Why disgraceful?
He didn't force your hand. In fact, some folks opt for righteous living....that is possible as amazing as it sounds.
He makes it possible for each of us to make choices and has set the stage so every potentiality is available (good and evil, light and dark, bitter and sweet), but the motivations behind and the results of those choices are on us....they aren't forced by God. He's made his standards very plain for people.
Blaming God is just silly, but there are a lot of silly people in the world that don't grasp those simple ideas. In most cases they just deny God to somehow avoid accountability and keep on sinning against him. And says things like "well I can't sin cause there ain't no sin cause God doesn't exist". When the truth is EVERYONE knows God exists.....they just choose to suppress that knowledge.
For example, you've chosen to hate God and pretend he doesn't exist because you don't want anything to do with God.
I get it. For most, being aligned with God would severely interfere with porn watching, recreational drug use, sex outside of marriage, bb drug use, hard partying, getting drunk, etc.......yet you attempt to label God as a disgrace.
Would you rather have the ability to choose whatever you want or be forced to do something you otherwise wouldn't choose? Like a puppet on a string or a robot?
Unfortunately most choose a fleeting lifetime of sinful pleasures and a teeth gnashing eternity without all that is God as opposed to an eternity of glorious, righteous existence in fellowship with God while denying the sinful pleasures of this life.

I used to read steroids.com's forum.
There was this guy with the username "man of steel" of something like that, whose signature was "educate before you medicate" and acted like some sort of guru.
When I checked his profile he seemed to be in bad shape, and surprise surprise, a couple months later he dies of heart attack (in his mid 30's).
I guess that many reckless gymrats end up like that, it's just we never hear about them.

Go to the PM forum. It seems every few months a member croaks or has a heart attack or some other organ failure.
