Post by: Darren Avey on September 04, 2017, 10:36:34 AM
Is this really a world record? Didn't Big Ron incline these for about 8?

His were 90KG but 105 can't be a world record, no. Branch used the 200s as well in his video although we have to consider the ROM was about 2" from his midget chest.

No shit, what an embarrassment. Dude needs to get on a life changing way of eating, and do some exercise.
Not hang around a gym like he's a big powerlifter. Nothing but a peanut 5000 lb. sack of peanuts.

That spotter is one monstrous fat sack of shit.

Man exceeded morbidly obese 150 pounds back.

The smell must be lethal.

Probably a record, I haven't seen anyone get up into the #105kg/231lb range, although there are a number that are close. For instance, Efferding could use #215/#98ish dumbbells. And this guy can bet very clean reps with the #215ers too, so I'm sure one of the big benchers may beat it soon -

.

Start at around 3:40 in.

Most I've seen was Spoto with 215s for 15+ easy reps.

225 pounders on a pretty steep incline. Derek gets some assistance, but not that much.
FF to 5:30

That fat spotter has no business being there.  I wouldn't want that fat smelly pile of garbage standing over me when I tried for a record.  As for the weight, I'm sure there are guys who can beat it, but just haven't tried before.

dumbbells are hard to move around and balance, involving as they say "stabilizer muscles". And individual chest muscles (one side) may be stronger, so one side my be faster than the other. The barbell balances the weight on each side for you, and it moves along a "plane" that is parallel to the floor.

Obviously just dormant muscle ready to reawaken at a moments notice.  I'd like to see a video of any of you rejected butt plugs doing a 231lbs goblet squat.

And yes... the aroma must be pungent, like a walking neglected stable...

Great dumbbells but certainly not the best quality gym kit.
