It has been many. back in the early 2000's both Agassi and Sampras won some slams with less than difficult draws. Andy Murray really screwed things up by entering the tournament and then withdrawing before playing a single match.

This i agree with, if Murray did withdraw earlier we wouldn't have had this mess of a draw... Then many top players either lost early or were absent, all in all a bad tournament for being a major, for the women too... Yes, Sampras and Agassi had some laughable draws during the 90s and early 2000s...
