Title: Short Men
Post by: foreleft on September 12, 2017, 08:06:28 PM
How many short men have you crossed paths with that are insecure and have Napoleon Syndrome? It is very very rare that Ive met a short man who is chill and confident and doesnt have to brag or be a loudmouth. Would venture to say as high as 90% of men under say 5 foot 9 are insecure mouthpieces

I'm not sure it's 90% but it's definitely way more common in short men.

How do you feel healthwise at 55 as opposed to 35?

How do you feel healthwise at 55 as opposed to 35?

I have to think on that a little. Healthwise I'm good. Feel good. Training good right now. I don't feel my age. Between being a  strength and receivers coach and working with athletes in my own business I'm throwing about 100-150 balls a day with little shoulder problem with the exception of some soreness, I recover pretty quickly but not as quickly as when I was younger.

I've ran across many insecure people, and severe cases are mostly men who are like ~5'2" "tall" and have to be alert when the house cat is hungry. Understandably since their heigtened aggression serves the purpose of surviving.
As a manlet myself I can attest that taller men like to poke fun at shorter ones which is, when light heartedly used, pretty amusing. Interestingly, the most spiteful humor seems to come from the 6' even crowd.

5'6 to 5'10 is probably the best height for building muscle without drugs...gives better leverage for strength and they can fill their frames and not have a lanky look.

Napoleon was actually average height for the time, it was English propaganda which depicted him as short and it's obviously stuck till today.

Well what guy is cool with being short? Did you not go through grade school? Lol.

Shorter does not necessarily mean you're suited for bodybuilding either (not that you said that). You still need the correct somatotype, hypertrophy ability, and aesthetics, which are also genetic.

i'm 5'10

average height in most places,  i meet some people eye to eye with me that claim to be 6'0

i don't understand the concern with short guys if they are so "inferior",  big dogs typically aren't concerned about the barking pomeranian unless that dog is taking their food so what are these short guys taking from you?

i think some tall guys are actually the insecure ones, their height is the only positive they have going for themselves so it bothers them to see a short guy being more successful err "mouthy"

Hey gimmick, all women care about is that you're taller than them. I'm 5'10" and my woman is 5'4" and no complaints. Height means nothing. It's all about confidence, which is clearly something you have little of.

Folks insecurity about their appearance comes in all heights, sizes and shapes.  ;)  My step-dad was 5'5" he was secure enough to hook up with my mom who was 5'8" in flats. He did like to drive "land yachts , like Cadillacs and Lincolns and to smoke big Cuban cigars.

I've shrunk over the years. -Gone from a hair under 6' to maybe 5'10". If I live long enough, I'll probably become a midget.  :)

whos the insecure one that if you're over 5'9 you have to start a thread about people that at under 5'9? lol

I disagree with 99.9% of what you post but you hit the nail on the head here. It's like these guys who make these threads have absolutely nothing going for them that they can be proud of other than being tall. Great accomplishment....way to go!

I'm 5'-8", so a midget by getbig standards, and I honestly never give my height a second thought. But for some strange reason tall guys seem to think height makes them superior in some way. OK well, if that makes you feel better about not accomplishing anything else in your life to be proud of. Thumbs up stringbean!

When people post about others (short, fat, tattooed, bald) it just means they are insecure because they either got their ass kicked by one of them, or their girl got banged by one of them, or their Ma got banged, etc.

Personal insecurity.

Yeah, but Photobucket recently blocking a lot of their images rendered a lot of old classics lost, unless saved elsewhere. Back in the site's heydey most people seemed to use Photobucket, sort of like Imgur today.
