Cardio version doesn't fix it. Ablation is your best chance for a fix.

You should explain what ablation is...
In some people rogue nerve cells generate conflicting cardiac rhythms...
They snake a tube up your leg to your heart...Then they snake a probe up the tube to determine which nerve cells are offending you...after they find them they use electric currents to blow away (ablate) the cells causing you problems...sometimes they will have to put in an electronic pacemaker when they are finished.

Yes that's some of it. As long as they don't ablate the sinus node no pacemaker would be needed. Best to go to an electrophysiologist and have an "electro study" done. Way too much to go into to post.

I often daydream about snaking my probe up a tube.... ;)
