Now, everyone is saying these dumbbells are fake. I mean, is this really implausible? Ive seen guys half the size of Brad use 80-90 pound dumbbells for shoulder presses. Hes a big dude. Why is it so improbable that he would knock out 120 pound dumbbell shoulder presses? ??? ???

guy looks great, fuck the weight...
-
Fuck "the strength cartel" tubbsters with their backward caps and overflowing bodyfat
-
Gotta admit the kid is thick. He looks to be about 4 weeks out all the time.
-
What so impressive about this? I thought he could bench like 600 lbs.... and can only do 12 reps on shoulder press with 120's? I can do 100's for 12 and I am not near his size Im guessing he's about 230

Meh.
Don't me wrong, I think doing the 120s is very impressive, but I wouldn't immediately be amazed by it or anything.
I did the 100s for 5 or 6 reps last year, when I was weighing either 170 or a bit more - might have been 176, depending on the time of day. So I'm not overly impressed or surprised with the Castleberry using the 120s. He is extremely strong - there is no question about that - but I wouldn't look at him repping out the 120s as being the best example of that. He has other far more impressive lifts.

is it me or it seems like in every brad dingleberry video he pulls his shorts down to show his ass crack. before he does a set

Way to make this response about you.

i could probably move that weight but i will not, because that can screw your shoulders up!
thats why i stick to machine lateral raises.

I never go over 90s no reason to, but I will not use a machine for raises that will fuck you up do cables if you don't want to use db's
-
I personally find Matt C's interview style to be unique and kind of refreshing.
He never goes in and plays kiss ass like all these other schmoes with microphones.
By going in there and visibly sizing up the pro bodybuilders and also injecting himself a little into the interview by comparing his own lifts as an above average natty with that of the geared up pros, it gives some of the younger guys and the more casual fans a good reference point between the 2 different types of results possibly attainable.

90s? I never EVER go over 45s, unless I go heavy.

no 90's for presses....... not laterals :o yea 45 50 the most better to get 12 reps on laterals

I had one sentence about me in it, dumb phaggot. Phucking phaggot:
Which is evidence that there is nothing impressive about the 120s being lifted by a guy Brad's size, given he is a lot bigger than I am. I wouldn't be impressed with Brad doing any less than the 140s, given his size.
Phucking phaggot.
WOOOOOOOSSHHH TA NA KA
Jesus. Calm down, broski.
Save all the emotion for YouTube.

Does castleberry supplements make any money? He had 800k followers but dresses Like hobo
-
does this guy claim he's natural?
-
nice clear skin on him
-
It's not hard to press hundreds and I'm not that strong only could bench 405
-
he is moving the 120s pretty fast
also most LA fitness gyms stop at 120s too
-
No doubt he is strong but that's more of an incline press with a good range of motion.
-

Yes he does and he takes his shirt off.
Weird dude.

I've seen people do 120's on shoulder press before. I don't think that's anything crazy heavy. He's strong, just not elite level powerlifter strong. No one really cares about the fake weights though, they are just using him to get views and followers.
-
I used to do push presses with 275 and was far from the strongest guy so why wouldn't they be real weights? Look at the guy, haha.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSHHH LE VRO NEE

Its not great probably like a 400lb benc or so it's still good though maybe he wasn't trying to show off just show fans his training.
-
Wake me as soon as this thread is about the parched Matt Canning doing partials with a parsh.

Those are real, and for him, it is no big deal, he is pretty strong. The taking off the shirt and crazy moves is a great ploy that garner's him a lot of fans. Why not. It works. It worked well at the 2017 Olympia Expo, where he had his booth, and lots of fans taking pictures with him.
Said hello to him, took his pic, and watched him have fun. Cool thing.
I have seen Steve Cook do 120 pound DB's for 12 reps too at a Boise Gym a few years back, so yes, it is possible. Funny how people think things are fake.

Ronnie Coleman with 160's, for reference (start at 8:49 in) :

Looks real.
He clearly is very strong but lifts beyond his max on certain exercises with the help of spotters.
-
Why doesn't he proves his lifts, when invited?

It's real....no mystery here fellas.
Pressing 120s is super strong for a normal person but common with solid gym rats.
-
those look more like incline chest presses to me

Who hacked rons account?
Joon is pretty much unstoppable... ;D
