interesting graph in this article about that.... going back to 2012 showing the trend was consistent long before Trump . Of course this article doesn't paint a picture it is all about Trump, since the decline has been steady for awhile and its not from Breitbart

Wrong, food stamp usage has been falling for years as the economy recovered from 2008 but who cares. Food stamps are to assist people while they get back on their feet after being laid off or becoming unemployed. There are a few people abusing the system but they wold abuse any system given the chance.

Why has participation fallen? Does it have anything to do with the fact that it was at an all time record high in 2013? Changes in eligibility requirements? States re implementing work requirements?

I can't recall for sure but I think there were some problems with the economy right around the end of the Bush Administration and the beginning years of the Obama Administration
I wonder if that had anything to do with the increase
