you are sadly mistaken, and really have no grasp on genetics or molecular biology.
Altering one's genes is just touching the surface of altering the final product scripted by those genes. Transcription factors, cellular signaling proteins, and so on have much more to do with protein expression than does the gene itself. The thing is, very have an extremely limited understanding of how these mechanisms work!

I plan to get to 300 lean pds naturally. :)

with your genetics, I'd say you have a shot at it!
But you might end up looking like a syrup bottle :o

You may get bigger than Steve, but better shape? Impossible considering that Steeve Reeves at 15 had better shape (genetic) than you have now...

I really doubt that ;D

It's funny. All these responses, yet not one educated thought to come out of them regarding the matter I have presented.
We must paitently wait for JohnnyApollo to stroll through 8)

Johny Apollo is out there proving the little kids that if you stay out past bedtime the buggyman will get you.

GMC, maybe there is something to gene inhibition and muscle growth if you know what you are inhibiting. However, products that claim to promote any gene alterations are bullshit. Link below:

Pic of a mutated bull:

its not a question of changing the genes after birth, dingus. its genetic alterations of the developing fetus, just like have been done to the bull in that picture.
and does anyone still take alexxx seriously? he's playing you all for chumps and laughing his ass off when you get pissed at him for his posts.

Monster delusions of grandeur.

Magoo, why you dissin me ???. I was only pointing out to GMC that gene therapy can work if done specifically and not haphazzardly. I never said it was feasible on a large scale; much less bodybuilding. I know the bull was born with this inhibition in vitro. If you read, there are a lot of companies that want to be able to duplicate this genetic anomaly on a larger scale. Think about it, more profit margins for the meat industry (one chicken with the musculature of two or three chickens). Oh well, you guys are awfully touchy and get ticked off rather easily.

sorry nico, i was talking to gmc. i just never remember to use the quote feature. my bad

Did you mean to write in vitro, in utero or even in vivo?(jk) :)
Is it just me or did the guy who started this post just through out a few buzz words, tell us we are sadly mistaken and don't understand gene alteration and then proceed not to explain anything or even make a point other than basically saying "gene doping, there's more to it than meets the eye!" very usefull.
the Doc ;)

If you would like to get in a discussion of gene expression, signaling pathways, transcription factors, etc, that would be fine.
But, I didn't think the "intelligencia" here at GETBIG would be able to comprehend ;)

when gene manipulatuion is a possibilty.. will it be muscletech sellin the first product ?
with their 'dna deliverin technology' their product will be 324324324 x better than takin a dump on a sunday mornin!

glad you didn't get offended at my post, I was only having fun. I agree that a purely scientific chat is not for gossip and opinions. If I get time I might post some of my thoughts and various articles I have read over the years. I used to very interested in the science of BB e.g. steroids, insulin, gh etc when I was in the pre-clinical years of med school.. I have or never had any intention of using nor condone it but was still fascinated. I'm no into surgery and just don't have the time or real interest anymore. If i get somne time in the future I'll put together a serious post and mark it for your attention.
the Doc :)
