They've been peddling this bullshit for so long that they actually believe it. In their minds, white people spend the entire day looking for new and innovative ways to oppress blacks, when in reality whites want nothing to do with blacks as evidenced by white flight and the and the subsequent turning of the area to shit when blacks take over.

At the end of the day, they're just rationalizing and making excuses for failure.
