True Adonis, while you are 100% correct regarding this assertion, would you say that professional athletes are more careful about their diet compared to the average person? For example, marathon runners will load up on carbs because it serves a purpose. The average person isn't eating carbs for a very specific reason, like a marathon runner. It would seem obvious that professional athletes definitely eat certain foods because they serve a very specific purpose when compared to the average person who just eats to eat--although, at the end of the day, all foods serve a purpose, even if we are not consciously aware of its purpose.

Good point.
But I am speaking more about other athletes. Would you agree that certain other athletes do engage in functional eating? Or, is it all just BS?

"Pro's" also often are out of breath because they stuff themselves full of food, 7 days per week
And still look lean, only achievable with very high drug use

hang out with a normal person for a week and see how they eat - fck sorry i should say american
the /'norm' is fast food - if someone is 'eating healthy' it usually means they allocate more $ for food in their diet , nothin more
they buy organic shit - with the same labels and ingredients but instead of high fructose corn syrup its 100% GMO free cane sugar?
they eat 'panera' instead of subway, or goto chik-fil-a and get salads for lunch instaed of McD's - that most peoples versoin of healthy eating
and also what with everyone having to have this great variation in foods they eat from day to day - i literally feel better eating the same breakfast and second breakfast EVERYDAY - why on earth would you seek out different food everyday ? its makes it harded to consume consistent calories as well as gives you gastro distress messing up nutrient absorption

What do you consider healthy eating?

What do you consider healthy eating?
anything that is fresh - vegetables , chicken, beef, whole grain rice - cheap , unalterated prducts - farm fresh - food is a huge business and many people are dependent on Mcdonalds and pizza hut to feed them and will pay them so, but how many know how to cook a potato? or steak?
nothing processed of course- anything designed to sit around longer than a week is shit
you should be asking what is food and WHAT ISNT FOOD -
another thing people need to realize is 100% Organic is just a label the USDA hands out to farmers who practice and maintain certain stipulations - but Im the hippie dumbass stoner that cultivates himself but what the fck do I know about healthy living
