This is Rory at one of his best shapes & it's good quality for the time.
The crowd goes nuts & he does a great routine. One of those that
would have made a very good 80's pro. If you watch it on youtube
I would appreciate a like. Thx KC
Slowly going through tubs of DVD's/VHS tapes & transferring them.
Bought a ton of videos, photos & magazines on ebay & other
places several years ago.

great find, bodybuilding at its best...
-
Very cool, thanks for sharing.
Rory Leidelmeyer and John Brown are two guys who somehow never made it into the IFBB pro ranks but nevertheless influenced countless bodybuilders and left an indelible mark on the sport/industry/sub-culture or whatever you want to call it.

Holy crap he sure did. Placed 15th. Don't know how I missed that! Why didn't he make a bigger impact in the IFBB? Was this before or after his pec tear?

not as badly as Kev Taylor a former British Champ back in 87 and still competing, he tore both pecs

Johnny Fuller had a pretty nasty pec tear also and for some reason never got it fixed. His right pec just receded more and more as time went on. I was going to post some pics here but didn't want to derail this thread any further.

Your Welcome.. I think he would have made a very good 80's pro.
He would have done well in pro shows looking just like that. Paris placed
well in some pro shows not looking as good as he did in 83.
Rory had more roundness than Paris & once he turned pro he might have stayed
closer to contest shape. I heard he used to put on a lot of weight & have
to lose a lot for contests. Some good guys back then never turned pro. It
was damn hard too. Beat the best in the US; then the world.

Rory in this video, peak Paris, peak Arnold - have to be up there as three of the most desirable physiques of all time (all homo).

Thanks for sharing! I love that new 80s bb is being uploaded to YouTube.
