You could hear his leg snap as he came down.  I'm a Utah Jazz fan but man, that sucked.  Get better Gordon.

Ugh, man he's screwed...this type of ugly dislocation happens because the ligaments that hold the ankle together are in a 3rd degree sprain situation aka torn partially or fully...plus they said broken tibia which would be the large lug by the ankle from the look of it. They will either plate and screw or use a tightrope tether system to put it back together, and it will take one or more at the break and probably another where the tib and fib meet the ankle block/talus to align the bones. He'll be out a year and will never be the same. Ankle will never have the range of motion and strength that it had.

Oh well.  At least the NBA is guaranteed money so he's still set for generations and being white and handsome he'll be just fine in life.

The Celtics had put all of the pieces in place to make a big run this year and GH was obviously a huge part of that. Sure, all teams have to deal with injuries and they are part of the game, but this one may change the entire landscape of the Eastern Conference.

Boston wasn't aiming for a championship this year.  There is one more piece Ainge wants on this team and that's Anthony Davis from New Orleans.  That's why they let a couple key players and draft picks go.  They're hoping they can sign Davis this off season.  His dream is to have Hayward, Kyrie and AD on the team.

As for PG13.  He is good but he is not as explosive pre leg injury.  It might take hayward a year or more to recover.  I don't see him playing until at least Jan 2019.

ad's just signed a max contract, he's locked up til 2021, they're also out of real assets since bradley are gone crowder, the 6ers might make the playoffs in the weak east too so that pick next year isn't ultra valuable . They're over the cap and they have to think about what to do with marcus smart this year. not to mention kyrie hasn't committed to them, this whole thing could blow up in ainge's face

Serious question: can a hightop shoe prevent ankle injury?
