Title: Eating like the Rock for 30 days
Post by: Never1AShow on October 22, 2017, 09:28:54 PM
Went from 206 to 207 pounds.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-rock-dwayne-johnson-diet/

Have to read down many paragraphs for this:

"While he does many different kinds of lifts, he estimates his strength has gone up 10 to 15 percent across the board. When he started his Rock routine, his incline bench press was 115 pounds; now it’s 150. He was originally doing 80 repetitions of a 180-pound leg press, but now he’s at 240."

Incline benching 150 lbs at body weight of 207.  Previously inclining 115.

This person has NOTHING of value to say.

The before and after. I actually think he looks a bit better in the before. The strength gains are kind of impressive, but you have to wonder if some of it is new lifter gains even though he claims to have lifter for at least a few years beforehand.

Looks like his gains were all neural, he may have lost a bit of fat/ recomped slightly but as for having built any muscle? Hmmmmmm.......

The rock only used gear once, it didn't work so he never used it again.  :-X

The exercise routine burns about 3,550 calories every day.

never in a million years...

weights for an hour and half and an hour of cardio doesn't get anywhere near that.

If the author means the gross calories burned all day and the "athlete" is 240 pounds of muscle then it might get close :D

First off, put the gear aside, the rock if you have ever seen a pic as a teen was already muscualy before he started lifting seriously, he is a mesomorph, has a totally different strucrure, metabolism, worked up for many years to that diet, plus he is like 6 fopot 5 and weighs probably 240-260 lean. Not pro bodybuilder lean, but leaner than most of us, especially DJ181  ;D

This guy, none of the above, period.

I didn't post it for the sake of providing info about The Rock diet.  I posted in order to point out that there is someone who inclines 150 who is purporting to provide training/nutrition information.

Seeing the pics now, I also think he's a liar and a scam artist just like most involved in the field.  No way he weighs more in 2nd pic.  He lost weight.
