And start having more children!!
Hopefully I will have my fourth child soon. I am very happy with three, but would like more.

Good man, I support you and your family 100 percent. You are a shining light.

I have turned to the age old medium of books. Going to start using the library more...it's becoming a more expensive habit than buying TV programs.

Thank you sir. Same to you. They are great kids, including my first daughter, who I adopted. Her father passed away two months after conception, and I thought it was as good a time as ever to start a family - starting with her. The sad thing is, is that had it not been for her, I would probably still be childless today saying "I'll just wait for the perfect time."
Sometimes right now is the perfect time.
Also, I never expected my children to make me forget basically all my other girls - but they have. I'm grateful that I picked up lightweight strongman as my sport, because it offers the best shelf life IMO, and as my kids get older and become more independent, I can revisit my goals, without having to worry that opportunity has passed me by, as is the case with other sports where you have a very narrow window to be at your best.
I live for my children right now, and not much more. Not much else can make me as happy as they do, and I really think that people who think they don't want kids may be missing out - I think you realize just how suited you are to a parental role once you are actually living it. :)
As for Hollywood - it's nice to see that Hollywood as an entity right now is losing a lot of credibility. I think we put our media and movie figures on a pedestal, and I think that may be a mistake. There are a lot of role models and even heroes all around us - we need not look to Hollywood to find them.

Yup ^^
Since sports and politics have combined (except for NHL so far as Hockey is my favorite) I dont watch.
So much more free time on a SUN now.

Yes sir. I didn't much care for the idea of a baby coming into the world who had already lost her father. She also made me realize that I had been ready to be a dad much, much sooner. While it is bad for everyone to put off family life, it is especially bad for women, who have a much more limited window of reproduction than do men. I find it sad how many female friends who are in their late twenties or early thirties say "I'm just not ready for a child yet - maybe in a few years." It just makes me wonder what they are waiting for, and whether or not they will regret their decision to put off commencing motherhood for so long...

We do. Every week we watch sports as a family. Tonight we're going to friends to watch the fights.

Time on sports and movies takes time away from the ThunderDome
