Perhaps to a small degree...
Oral vitamins have such poor bio-availability that a little insulin wont do much IMO.
Liposomal vitamins are the way forward.....10g vit c in one hit, makes it through the digestive tract and works wonders.
I'm experimenting with my own blend of vits/anti ox in liposomal form.

So you just mix the ascorbic acid powder with the phosphatidylcholine?

No.
You need an ultrasonic bath to create the liposomal structures to encapsulte the vits.
Lecithin does the trick...

Well how haven't I shit my insides out after ingesting 15g of vit C in one hit?

The adverse effects of vitamin C may result from its capacity to reduce the exercise-induced expression of key transcription factors involved in mitochondrial biogenesis.

Always taken vit C, tablet, injection, liposomal and it's never hindered me to my knowledge....

Yeah I don't know either. There's a lot written about it though. It's somewhat interesting.

Yeah I have read similar regarding other anti oxidants too....
Like I said, no issues my end...and these studies are so vauge, trained men? NEwbies? Experienced? Fitness? LBM?
So many variables that could effect said study outcomes...

Most experts in the nutrition field say the data seems to show antioxidants hinder exercise adaptation. They say you want ROS action which is a signal for adaptation. Some advice avoiding high doses of them altogether and some think they should at least be taken away from exercise times. There was also one well known but contested meta-analysis saying supplemental antioxidants increased mortality.
Complicated subject.

Your bathtub supplement sounds promising... given you do not dip your humongous body into the blend, have you ever thought of selling it?

Lol
It is something I have given consideration too...a human engineering company purveying highly absorbed vits, peps like BPC and epitalon and injectable vits/anti oxi....main problem is I already work a demanding job so may not be 100% committed which will inevitably end up letting people down.
My current mix is vit C, vit D and some anti oxident powder.
Will try to add vit e in there next time too....help with hpta whilst on.

Taurine is supposed to protect the testicles via antioxidant action too.

Nice. Cheers Van I'll check it out.
Think I've got a bag of taurine somewhere from when I made cat food :)

The antioxidant craze never made sense to me, how we need all these isolated, high dose pills just to stay healthy, or for energy, or whatever.
Linus Paulding got a Nobel prize, but it wasn't for his vitamin c work. Ironically, he, his wife, and colleague all died of cancer, the illness he claimed his supplementation could avoid.
