Getting rid of the mandate tax doesnt do jack shit to make or help lower premiums or costs - sure it takes away the penalty and that is a must! But does it do anything to make insurance plans more affordable after ObamaKenyafagtrannyCare ruined it? Not really. The GOP is really a scam and a fraud what they are doing w this tax bill. What a waste of time.

Part of the reason why auto insurance rates are low is due to the auto insurance mandate.
The law in each state requires a driver to have insurance.
In simple terms , you're REQUIRED to be responsible of you hit someone/something with your car.
In my opinion, if you don't want to get health Ins , you pay cash or avoid going to a hospital ER.
But, back in the 1980's the supreme Ct ruled, you have to treat sick people when they show up at the ER.
The mandate was extended to illegal immigrants.
FYI, the required hospital ER services get rolled into our premiums.
Plus, the first 1/3 of your premium $$ goes to an outside investor in the HMO/Ins.
Only 2/3 ( on avg ) goes to stuff directly related to health care.

Please stop using that liberal canard. Auto and health are not remotely the same. Not even close,.

With auto - they dont cover oil changes, wipers, tires, etc. Additionally, if you are shit driver you pay more. With KenyabamaCare whether healthy or a fat smoking liberal cvnt - you pay the same.
-
Huh ??? Liberal canard? Really?
I think you forgot to spell my political ideology expressed here.
I'm taking a libertarian philosophy on health care policy.
In simple terms : No Ins , No$ to pay = no medical service.
I'm totally against having free ER visits or having the GOV pay for individual health Ins plans.
My auto insurance analogy was made to compare policy risk vs coverage costs.
Perhaps, I just suck at written communication? Hmmm, I think I'm pretty clear, but wtf?
I often feel like I'm writing in a foreign language on these forums.
I trust this follow up better explained it.
If i'm a good driver my risk is lower and I get a better deal on auto. If I were a fat liberal drunken slob w DWI's and accidents etc - I would pay more.
With KenyaTrannyChoomerCare healthy pay more to subsidize the fat lazy drunk diabetic liberals

Here is the problem with this mandate horse shit, the government has now found a way to tax you for inactivity, not to mention that it is yet another .gov run ponzi scheme. So what's next buy a Toyota, get taxed for not buying a Chevy?

Ok? I think I was pretty clear about being against Gov subsidized health care insurance.
In simple terms, I agree with your premise.

To me the bigger issue is forcing hospitals to care for dead beats.

Bingo!

If anyone thinks that they're going to get everything they want they're sadly mistaken. Liberals love raising taxes on people they're not willing to pay themselves. Anything is better than the shits storm Obama created.

You're 100% correct that nobody gets everything they want in congress.
Yes, most liberals think we should have higher taxes to pay for more dopey programs.

Yes because that is what we need, more programs that make citizens slaves to .gov.

I agree.
Ronald Reagan is my ideal President.

Principles of insurance are the exact same.

Bullshit. If that was actually true you wouldn't have voted for the exactly the polar opposite
-
Principles of insurance are the exact same.
False. If that were the case fat and unhealthy liberal twats who smoke drink and are diabetic would pay a lot more than healthy people no different than crappy irresponsible liberal drivers pay more than those w no citations or accidents
