Evidently, there's a debate going on now to get rid of all masculine cases for nouns etc. That there can be no inclusiveness as long as the language is structured that way. "Language inclusivity" folks. Yup.
In before "don't you live in America? Maybe worry about your problems" ::)

Making a group gender hazy is bad because it's less descriptive although we already do that in English. If I tell you the farmers are fat, you don't know if there are some fat broads along with the fat guys. Or maybe they're all fat bitches. You just can't tell. Ok, they do in french too, I guess. Sounds like every plural is masculine? Idk. In Spanish a group is feminine if all it's members are female. 100,000 women and 1 guy and it's masculine. That drives chicks crazy.
Making a noun gender specific is better because it adds information you didn't have before. "Ambassadress" is a great word. Now you know if you're fucking the ambassador later you won't need to bring a white towel. We do it rarely in English. We kept waiter and waitress but don't do it with positions of greater prestige. No one says they went to see their doctoress but got pulled over by an officeress. Maybe we should. It'd be a hoot.
I thought you meant they were going to replace le and la with one word. That would be better, by which I mean easier. I tried to explain to my girl about le and la, el and la and los and las, il and lo and l' and la and i and gli and le. Also der, die, and das. She said it was stupid and I had to agree.
Forget about it. They blew it with the bizarre punctuation. . <--- Nope. Ain't nobody gonna.

Haven’t French men always been fags anyways?

I’ve heard this, as well. Yet more “progressiveness” leading us into regressive societies and, ultimately, a drone-like, uni- workforce.
Globalism is the plan.

Doubtful - France has fought many times.

Fuck sake, this shit all over the world now.
Sweden, France, Canada, USA and New York with it's 30 different genders.
World is turning to shit.
Mosques and Minarets popping up in Swe and soon we have a new Caliphate in Europe.
Question is if it will be based in France, UK or Swe!
I mourn for the younger generation growing up today.

I'm starting to view the Muslimaniacs in Europe in the same way as the Jebusites and other groups that sieged Israel in Old Testament times. Let them destroy Progressives and their failed Marxist policies; as Apollo Creed once said, "Some folks have to learn the hard way."
