No idea at this point who it will be

well, since you clearly don't need any political experience to win the top job, the names of a lot of celebrity outsiders will be floated.

"Free" everything and "single payer"
There, there's his platform.

Ladies and Gentlemen--
You heard it here first.
The democratic nominee will be Michelle Obama.

I think that she will give it a go in the future ... 2020 is too soon tho.

No.
Too many possibilities for me to make a prediction. I will, however, predict an everyone-in-the-pool scenario like it was with Republicans for 2016.

I'm hoping for Mark Cuban will at least run
It would be awesome to watch him mock Trump for being a phony billionaire and he can make up just as much bullshit at Trump which we know will appeal to Trumptards so he can get bi-partisan support

He said he would most likely be running as a republican if he ran, I believe.

Indeed, a black tranny would motivate leftists to vote.

trumptards are pretty stupid
We seem to owning the minds of libs daily

And there's this, the possibility of a challenger in the Republican primary. "Dark" Dem money would flow to support such a candidate, since it would likely doom Trump's reelection.

Yes, they should have voted for a woman, because, well, it's her turn. ::)

Trump wins in another landslide in 2020.
Nobody is even close to his level when it comes to political shrewdness.
There, now I just saved you 3 years of fretting.

Though I largely agree with your post, your comments are non sequiturs.
Will Sanders get the Dem nom? if not, who will? I have no idea.

Mark is good on Shark Tank, and Kevin O'Leary is the Canadian Trump.

Fair Enough.
The Democrat Party is in such disarray right now and I think it is just the tip of the iceberg.
The leadership are basically a bunch of septuagenarian and octogenarian, power hungry corporatist sell outs who are doing everything in their power to not give up the reins and at the same time undermine/stifle the sizable populist Pro-Bernie wing.
Pelosi herself has been out in the past few days making excuses for Al Franken and John Conyers, which of course will be used against them in the future with memetic warfare from the Right and it certainly will not help them with a large bloc of their female constituency.
All these things are doing is causing an even greater resentment between the two camps and I just can't see a situation where they come together without major blood being spilled, figuratively speaking.
Can an 80 year old Bernie heal these wounds enough to unify everyone and mount a successful campaign. I don't know. I have my doubts.
BUT REGARDLESS, we must take in The Trump Factor.
1. The Legacy Media and their influence is becoming weaker by the day. Time Magazine is being sold. The Guardian is begging for donations. Outlets like CNN and MSNBC are being exposed and discredited constantly. The alternative pro-Trump media becomes stronger and stronger. Andrew Breitbart always talked about the Narrative and the importance of it. This is all beginning to work heavily into Trump's favor.
2. The Economy. If the economy is humming along right around 4% it is going to be incredibly difficult to vote that sort of prosperity out of office. The economy under Trump has been FANTASTIC his first year. If you are looking at your investment accounts and it is bursting full of profits are you really going to want to vote that out?
3. Trump's mic skills and political tact are the greatest we have ever seen. Anyone that gets on stage from the Democrat Party will be buried by him. They will be laughed at. Embarrassed. Alternative media will step in with support and magnify it even greater. 4chan and reddit will put in work as well.

by "another landslide," do you mean another electoral college victory that ranks in the bottom quarter of showings in U.S. history?
-
Democrats should really worry about winning those votes rather than dwelling in the past.

Maybe I need to get my eyes fixed but it looks pretty red to me, Joe.
These people live in total denial.

Him or some dud.

I think it's possible Bernie was nothing but a placeholder, meant to keep a determined candidate away from the spot. It seems nearly impossible to believe this stuff at the DNC happened without his knowledge.
But let's just say, if it did, then he's too hopelessly incompetent to hold the office. Sorry to have to say that.
