Good show, not great, but strong. This first season is all really a set up for next season. The serial killer interactions, especially Kemper, are the best parts. All the stuff between the young agent and his girlfriend should just be ffwd'ed through, it's the worst part.

Watch Stranger Things on Netflix.

x2 loved it!
All based on true events!

Read the book MindHunter by John Douglas way back when I was a Detective. Made an impression on me. So I am watching the series, I'm in episode 3 so it is to early to tell but I like that they are sticking somewhat to the reality of how it was developed

Loved Mindhunter. Highly recommend it.

its crap.
slow as hell.
boring.
boring characters.
boring and annoying lead.
and who cares about serial killers, its been done to death.

Season 1 was pretty good. The actors playing the serial killers (especially the Ed Kemper character) are chillingly, creepy, scary good. Almost on the same level as Javier Bardem's performance in "No Country for Old Men."
-
I prefer Mystery Hunters starring Christina Broccolini.

They are spiritually connected, how could he not be in it.

Where Christina goes, so do Big Lenny, in spirit.

Ed Kemper had me mesmerised. He is so intelligent, that it’s scary.

Exactly, I've met Douglas twice, once in the academy and later at a seminar, very low key yet very inspiring.

Spot on too.

I thought it was great, one of the best series I've seen on Netflix
-
For those that liked the show, this old documentary was one of the sources. I haven't watched it in years, but Ressler, Dietz, Kemper, and I think Douglas are in it -
.

thought is was a great 1st season. can't wait for the second.
-
Don't want to derail this but if you haven't been watching Godless.... fantastic 7 episode mini series....

Was good.

Loved season 1. Good god how did they f the second season up so bad. Nothing but virtue signaling lectures.
Bold would have been virtue signaling 60 years ago when people really were oppressed.
Bold today would be a dam tv show or movie that doesn’t virtue signal. Yeah. Now that would be a bold statement.
Examples: making the lead character all of the sudden appear clumsy and dumb in interviews then shocked as his new black partner grabs the reins and takes control of the interview of two serial killers as the perps sing like canaries.
The obligatory lesbian relationship. Hey who doesn’t love lesbians but do we need it shoved down our throats in every show/movie today?
Substitute the interview example above with another fumbling male FBI agent failing miserably at a serial killer interview only to have the lesbian take control and get the perp talking.
And on and on and on........Hollywood ::)
