The ones the cops hold are better they're not the same. Also checking your blood alcohol level is not a method of reducing your blood alcohol level. If you don't feel buzzed or drunk, but you know you're over 0.08% BA level ( You should know when this is as you are a drunk and drink all the time ) just drink water and wait 2 hours and BOOM. Isn't that amazing? Or just don't drink and not have to worry.

A good friend got drunk and got in his car to drive the three blocks home.
He got stopped for drunken driving and ended up paying a few thousand dollars to keep his license.
Plus the court mandated, Safe Driving School took up a lot of his time for the next 8 weeks.
Now his serious drinking is done at home. That appears to be a daily event so I recommended that he sell his car which seems to be only used now for liquor runs.

i like to drink get buzzed then eat to sober up so i can drive legally, would like to see that my BAC is in safe level b4 i drive

Further, many jobs will not consider you with a DUI or DWI on your record.
