His father Jon Loyd took 2nd to Strydom in 84 USA heavies. Many thought he should have one. Crazy impressive. Too bad this pic is a bit cropped at head. Guy was tall and huge. I know there was already a topic on this...but worth another.

Jon had a great physique. Boston could have gone a lot further if he did things the right way.

Jon was peeled at the 84 USA and weighed in at 222-ish. Strydom had 20 lbs. on him but was maybe not in quite as good condition. It could have gone either way and nobody would have complained.
Too bad Bostin seems to have inherited more of his mom's genetics than his dad's.
