Saw this in the wild for the first time today.

Verdict:Don't Buy. Pepsi is, bar none, my favorite soft drink and this is pretty bad. Last month's limited edition flavor was cinnamon (?!?) and, while this is not quite as heinous, it's pretty disgusting. The title led me to believe there was potential, but unfortunately it sucked.

Yes, but they still shouldn't have it. Just need to make sure they never try it, so they won't have a chance to get hooked! :D

Funny, pepsi is my favorite drink because, to me, it tastes a lot less sweet than most other sodas. "Crisp" is exactly the word I use when I describe regular pepsi compared to other soft drinks. I used to be a big diet soda fiend, up until recently actually, then I found out that it's basically as bad for your teeth as regular soda. Coke Zero was my poison of choice, though.

RC cola for the win and it’s certified kosher for you heebs

Coke Zero is good shit and it's as close to the real taste of any diet drinks. I gave up diet sodas about a year ago and will on occasion grab a Pepsi or Coke when I need a jolt. My teeth feel like they have sweaters on after I drink them though.
Salted caramel sounds horrible though for a soda flavor.

Cinnamon flavored soda..... I bet the guy who thought that up makes a lot more then I do.

As a kid I only drank cola on birthdays ;D

In Boy Scouts 20 + years ago we had a what the fuck would you call it experiment? No project? No fuck it I don't know anyways we made soda. Cola in fact. Was pretty fucking easy you took it to toothpicks I believe maybe it was one toothpick and plain soda water and some cinnamon. You stuck the toothpick into the cinnamon and you pulled out a bump of cinnamon in your ported into a 12 oz glass of plain soda water come to think of it I believe you did that with two or three bumps of the cinnamon using a toothpick. Just the tip of the toothpick by the way. And then you'd stirred in a couple teaspoons of sugar and you start it up and you drank it and sure fucking enough that God damn shit tasted exactly like Coca-Cola using nothing but soda water sugar and little bumps of cinnamon for flavor on the ends of toothpicks. This trip down memory lane with es Fitness is brought to you by LG voice text so some of the shit doesn't make sense I'm too lazy to go back and fix the punctuation. The end

Can't stand soft drinks.

Yeah, I actually did a thread on here about when I gave up diet sodas. Instead I will just have an occasional regular soda. And I agree with you about the teeth feeling. For the last week of the year, I've just been going hogwild, so I've been having a 20 oz soda everyday.
Maybe my perception is clouded by the mango pepsi that was released a few years ago. I don't like mangoes and I would never seek out a mango anything, but in a special edition pepsi, it was pretty good. I'm on the adventurous side when it comes to trying food, so when a special edition version of a product I like is released, I have to try it.

The product being reviewed was named in the thread title. I'm not sure what you were expecting. :-\

Things taste better than they look. The orange crush poptarts looked like some of the grossest things in the world. They ended up tasting pretty decent like an orange creamsicle flavor. Not that i'd buy them again but i finished the box. Same with this drink probably. its probably decent.

It's not decent. It's terrible. That's why I felt it was my duty to notify the public. It was my soda for the day and I didn't even finish the last quarter of the bottle. To me it sounded like it would be good. Caramel is basically sugar, so you wouldn't think the flavor profile would be different enough to be off-putting. That soda def was not better than it sounded.

Nothing "salty" belongs in a soft drink. Ever. :-X

What did it taste life, and what was wrong with it? Did it have any of the traditional pepsi flavor or was it totally different?
-
Soda is no good for bodybuild.

It had three distinct flavors: the salt, the pepsi and the caramel. Like I said in previous post, one of the best things about pepsi is its crisp, clean taste. That especially applies to the really crisp aftertaste. In the caramel version, you have the salt as the first taste, but then the pepsi flavor is sweetened to compensate for the salt. That's the first problem. The aftertaste is the caramel which leaves a burnt aftertaste. The smell is much sweeter than regular pepsi. It hits you as soon as you open the bottle.

Just so you don't miss the guy too much
::)
you lie. you were never a boy scout, they would never let you in!

Diet Coke for me...........thanx !
That's pretty gay

If they had it in the diet variety I would try it. I'd even buy a 12 pack. I think it sounds delicious. I don't like regular soda. Aspartame has grown on me and no I"m not worried about getting cancer.

Hyperinsulinemia and a resultant increase in adiposity are far more likely than cancer, which is why I'm cutting way back on the soda. Google "aspartame and hyperinsulinemia" and you'll find tons of supporting documentation like this study:

Aspartame is some really nasty shit with a history to match.

Sounds really shitty. I usually like throwing some new stuff in my shopping cart when i'm getting groceries but i might have to pass on this. Sometimes i wonder what the fuck they're doing when releasing these things. Like they must have had several people flavor test it before it was released. Did all of them really sit there and say "Yeah this taste ReALLLY GOOD!!" Before they released it, lol?
I think at this point they just figure the curiosity will help them be in a good profit margin if everyone just buys 1 to try. Pretty pathetic if that's true.

Odd...
Since caramel is usually a flavor listen in the ingredients.
So is salt.
Like having potato flavored potato chips
-
I always choose Diet Pepsi instead of Diet Coke, it's much better. It's fizzier. It has a cleaner taste. It mixes better with rum and has a lower sodium content......
;)
