Title: Female male pattern baldness (feat. Iris)
Post by: Taffin on January 05, 2018, 11:45:02 AM
There's probably been many threads about this, and I've certainly mentioned this several times before.  I vividly remember meeting Paula Bircumshaw years ago and struggling not to stare at the hair clearly breaking off around her forehead.

And since I've been showing an interest again the last few years it appears that some of the top women might be attempting to conceal male pattern baldness beneath wigs, etc.

The various hormone guru's will probably have an opinion on what sort of compounds cause this (DHT derivatives, maybe?) but I'm happy to see that at least one top FBB has decided to ditch the wig and embrace her new hairline.  (If anyone has any recent pics of Lenda Murray sans wig they would be appreciated)...

My mom taught me that if I can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.  So I'll refrain from commenting on the topic.  But I kind of feel like Iris Kyle single-handedly killed women's pro bodybuilding.  Agree?  Disagree?  Thoughts?

Black women naturally get that because of the constant chemical straightening/perm/relaxing...most black women Iris' age have some form of pattern baldness...why wigs are ao popular with black women...gotta keep that straight, smooth caucasion hair.

I'm amazed Iris did while Bev Frances did not.

I've had a few women complain of gobs  of hair falling out in the shower or brushing or simply just running their hands through their hair in the parking lot stepping into the gym... the common denominator in all those girls isn't necessarily which androgens and what amounts of total androgens or anabolics, but T3 use. (For some reason)

I always had high (within normal) T3 levels. They are decaying with age, and so is my hairline. Wouldn't my hair fall faster when i was younger?
But then again, if it's the testosterone the culprit, it's also lower than when i was younger.

This is basically female-to-male hormone replacement therapy, short-term and at low dosages there might not be too many masculizing side-effects but long term it will be hard to avoid.

A female bodybuilder I know told me she stopped using hormones after she noticed hair growing on her chest...

I knew a tranny dude/girl (born fem) who went all out and decided to take it to am extreme and become a "bodybuilder". Zero nregard to the virilizing side effects obviously, and went bald up top just like a fucking man would. ( only example I can think of would be that O'Leary dude on Shark Tank completely bald on the top of his head). Using all the Nabolics a man would. Grew hair on his/her chest/back/stomach\shoulders etc...

I have no idea why, or of, the t3 (thyroid in general) would cause it, but it was a common denominator come on girls I know but where losing hair. They almost all complained of it falling out over all their head like in clumps and stuff, not just in the "male pattern"

I always thought Hide was a known male prostitute in japan, getting money from older Japanese women, including his wife/gf.

Apparently, yet to be confirmed, Hide gets Japanese Federal Government Money due to his Pro Status. Read somewhere that Japan sponsor Pro BB with good money..

Male pattern baldness is a genetic trait.

I have it.

My three sisters are spared because they haven’t the hormonal profile for it to “do its work”. However, if they began to use male hormones, the mechanism would be engaged and, voila, they’d too experience hair loss.

This is genuinely a very interesting angle.  Aeons ago, I was scared of Winstrol because I was told it would make me bald.  Then I learned that Berry DeMey basically lived on the stuff, and look at his hairline now!  So genetics truly must play a part as you say.  Since exactly none of my male forebears had MPB (and neither do I at this point touch wood) I'm postulating that Winstrol would not have caused problems for me - dammit - missed opportunities and all that.

But to take what you say further, perhaps female bodybuilders using PED's - assuming they have male siblings - might care to look at them to see the potential effect of any DHT derivative on their scalps before they make that leap..?

Anyone got a time machine so I can go back to put all this to some use please?   ;D
