Like these. Shiny weights and chrome handles. Horrible things. I far prefer old rusty iron weights with a real good grip on the handles. Hey maybe that's just me.

Yeah I agree, I like the old Ivanko dumbells, the ones most gyms have now are rubber.

Unfortunately the trend is to make as less noise as possible when working out.
One of the trainers gets annoyed when I train with chains, so as a result I often use them when he's there.

Is that the daughter of that old presenter couple?
The gym has atlas stones in the background so it must be a pretty serious gym, seen worse dumbbells those ridiculously expensive “Jordan” range of dumbbells look far worse

You'd love mine.  ::)  Cheapest piece of shit hex head chinese daggy casting flaking ass paint rust spotted things around.  I'm amazed an end hasn't fallen off and broken my nose by now.

Sigh.  Guess I'll hit them with a flapper disk, blast 'em, run a trustworthy weld, and repaint them.  Sometime one of these days.
