Title: Bradley Martyn - Buys A Raptor
Post by: Parker on January 20, 2018, 02:22:16 PM
Social Media/YouTuber - bodybuilder Bradley Martyn buys a new Raptor with millionaire Youtuber Salomondrin.
Yes, I know what you are going to say ("Who?"). But, these guys are tearing it up on YouTube and social media. They are at Galpin Motors, which is like Candyland for rich folks.

I say good for them. They, like most of the popular IG/youtubers have found away to tap into the 17-22/23 year old demographic without having a ton of entrepreneurial and business savvy but not a whole lot of knowledge aside from the basics of what any seasoned gym goer might have.

Don't hate on Salomondrin  >:( .His Banging Gears exposed Pagani's weaknesses. Plus, he's a proud Mexican who made it big, just like Coach (Is Back).

I also like where he gets his music from. Goodrum needs to check it out, he'll get more views with a banging soundtrack.

Also all these guys know each other. JMM and Salomondrin hang out together and have been on each other's vids.

I like David lee’s Ferrari collection a lot better and his choice of cars

Many of these guys aren’t even real car enthusiasts, just buy a whole bunch of exotics and call themselves car guys like that prick Persian real estate guy manny khoshbin

Hany rimjob is reg track guy

Salomondrin may just eat his words when the higher performance version of the 488 comes out. His vids when he goes to RDB are his better ones.
David Lee does have a nice collection. But the guy who doesn't get his due is Harry Metcalfe. Dude is mainly about the old school (70s-90s). But he is very knowledgeable. He's got that "rich grandpa" vibe to him.

You are correct. The cars are part of the "life style" and that whole genre of YouTube. You won't see them getting their hands dirty, and changing spark plugs on older cars. Most are only into the the brand new.

I can see Hany-Hany Slimbob tracking cars.

I agree, thing is a lot of the guys that trash Ferrari are the ones that got rejected a spot for a Ferrari, a bunch of millionaires crying cause they couldn’t get on the list  ;D

You are correct about Metcalfe, same about that Porsche guy Walker with the beard , and of course jay Leno. Same with Paul walker, guy was a real car enthusiast at heart, and like you said it’s more about the “life style” and showing off wealth more than anything. Me and Kevin discussed this the other day, guess cause our business deals with cars from a day to day basis 😂

Hany does have some sick cars, ACR is my fav of his and in general, GTR wasn’t so bad either , funny seeing Phil trying to keep up haha, hey his car does have a tacky plaque that says “mr Olympia” haha

Wow, lotta people doing the "detest that which you cannot have" coping mechanism.

Pathetic.

No different than the guy who sees a 250lb bodybuilder with 7% bodyfat and says/thinks "pffft... He's all drugs. If I took the same amount of drugs he does I could be just as big".

Coach gets it. This dude is a YouTube celeb. One of the new breed of bodybuilders. And he doesn't come off like an idiot. Like it or not, social media is the new form of communication, and bodybuilders that can adapt well, gain popularity for the "lifestyle/sport". The fact that he did a collab with a popular (and rich) car enthusiast gives more exposure.

Many of you guys love Piana who was all fake, and all drugs, and gave him views. As well as Genova and VeganGains, and Lloyd Bostin. All guys who were stereotypes and brought nothing new.

Over 700k followers IG and I’m sure hundreds of thousands more on other SM platforms. This is $$ in most cases. This is modern day marketing for any business

You can't presume to speak for everybody (nice belief in your importance) and nice deflection for being a alt-right follower and using the term incorrectly. The fact that a bodybuilder who is not portraying some stereotype should be welcomed and highlighted. And that is why it was posted. It's entertainment, remember that. Ain't that deep. To be the hater of this, is truly the cuck life.

The only cars that are "investments" are older cars out of production.  The only Ferrari that could be considered an "investment" would be a LaFerrari possibly. Cars are nearly all depreciating assets.

I’ve been on a list for a white dial Rolex Daytona 500 for a year now.I could buy one on the grey market for 18k but msrp is 12400.The demand for the new ceramic Rolex Daytona is retarded. So I  imagine the demand for a Ferrari is retarded as well.it is kind of cool though as I got a black dial Daytona 116500 about a year ago for 12400 right place right time and sold it a month after wearing it for 19k.people want what they want.

My fave of late has been a Breitling Super Avenger II which I can get away with a pretty good size wrist (and its fun to wear). I would say 44 and up. I had a black dial deepsea which I regret flipping it so may get the Cameron. Also the Yachtmaster has become more appealing for some reason (it's different). I do like the 40mm hulk sub though but that seems to be a bit limited.

A Pam 1305 may be next and that's 47mm but titanium.

Next few I will keep because I have a grandson now.

Some are very stubborn about posting on social media so it's their own fault. Chris Bumstead has a huge following on IG but doesn't post as much on YT and people bug him all the time. He's just leaving money on the table.

Never liked to wear my GMT's because they felt too small.

44mm Panerai's was perfect. Biggest in had were the U-Boats at 50mm. Can't imagine wearing anything bigger (not sure what else is bigger, aside from that 60 or 80-something Panerai Stallone has.

Always liked the Omega Seamaster at 45mm.

I think your thinking of the Omega Planet Ocean which is a little over 45mm. I had the orange bezel model but hated that it had no micro adjustment on the bracelet. The Pam 1305 is 47mm but sits nicely on the wrist and is titanium so not too heavy. I got used the Breitling SA so now it feels normal.

Just got rid of the Cameron deepsea a few weeks back,I loved that watch also had the black dial a couple years ago and really miss that too.The hulk I’ve had 3 times and loved that one too and the demand for that is crazy,it was selling for 10500-11500 up until about two weeks ago now they are starting to come down a bit to 9800-10200.Hopefully they go back to normal again,I paid 7800-8200 for each one of mine brand new.i do like the breitling super avenger II although never seen one in the flesh. Also a fan of the ym II.never tried a Panerai as they always seemed way to big to me.

50mm is huge,I couldn’t imagine sporting that on my wrist and my wrist is 7.75”.Would feel very aware of my wrist at all times with something that big.I tried on the omega planet ocean once and i did like the look but once on the wrist was just to big.You are not alone on the 40mm seeming to small, common opinion about Rolex it seems.

Think my wrists are smaller than that even. You get used to the 50. Thw thickness is even more impressive than the diameter. I've got a few ig pics wearing the leather one (with the black case. Had one with stainless case as well and rubber strap.).
