The Privada "Dirty Rat" is a good one as well.
The My Father and Flor de las Antilles are always in my box and when I can get my hands on the Padron 1964's, I always snag a few.

Nah. Buddy owns a cigar shop. I know little more than I like robusto size or gordo and whatever tastes like vanilla and leather or coffee and take whatever freebies he gives me. I know I like the Romeo y julieta's and Ashtons better than the montecristos. That's about it

When you die your lungs will have a lovely rosy tone to them, but you;ll be just as dead as the guy ,with blackened lungs, who smoked his whole life.

Besides,as a general rule of thumb, unlike with cigarettes ,people don't draw cigar smoke into their lungs. Cigar smoke is simply too harsh for that. The nicotine in the cigar juices ,is absorbed through the lining of the mouth.

To out illogical, moronic comments/claims people like you make.

Not sure where you're coming from.  Maybe yours is the knee-jerk antipathy of westerners in the late 20th century/21st century. Maybe you've had near and derar ones die prematurely due to their smoking. In which case ,you have  my commiserations.

But I do wonder how sympathetic the posters here would be if the girlfriend or mother of ,say, Rich Piana or Dallas McCarver joined the board, denouncing the use of anabolic compounds and asking that we support tougher punishments for those who illegally deal and use steroids, growth hormones ,insulin or peptides.

I think you might be slightly hypocritical here,or dong a proper risk asessement...

...........

As for tobacco, which was introduced to the wider world by Columbus in 1492,and has been part of the fabric of society for over 5 centuries, has its uses. The users are not simply doing to relieve unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.,though that is there of course, for those that intake daily...

Of course there is the fact that it is pleasurable in itself, has a great deal in its appeal....

Like alcohol,it's a great social drug, and a way of breaking the ice with strangers. It is singular too it its way of being able to bring people of opposite political persuasions or enemy sides together in a state of amiability. Witness soldiers during World War 1 ,on Christmas Day, going over the top and exchanging and smoking cigarettes; or an older tradition, warring Native Americans bands sitting together after a battle ,with their peace pipes,to mark the end of hostilities.

It is also a fine stimulant ,counteracting the effects of depressants, and unlike ,say, caffeine or amphetamine used to ward off sleep deprivation it leaves you in a more alert. less "zombie-like" state.....

Deeper intakes of nicotine can instill a feeling of reverie or introspection. So you can go deep into yourself when reading a book,by yourself or even in a social situation....

It enhances mood .One of more well known instance being the traditional cigarette in the refractory period to remove feelings of "tristesse" or despondency....

It also works synergistically with drugs such as cannabis or alcohol ,enhancing the pleasurable high you get from them. After a couple of cigarillos,I find myself thirsting for a few beers.

Paradoxically, given how well nicotine goes with certain drugs, food is less pleasurable on nicotine.. Often you find yourself eating less and drinking more ,if you regularly use tobacco. It also increases your metabolism and increases fat loss. So,if you want a cure, for the nation's obesity epidemic free nicotine prescriptions might be one of tacking the problem.

Also, sometimes basing your life on a system of chemical rewards is a good way of motivating yourself to get things done on a day to day basiss Nicotine is a good drug for that and its long-term effects are better understood that many prescription drugs..

Finally-and this effect isn't often mentioned,it can make dreams, with their random,imaginative,free-association more vivid ,surreal and memorable.

So,yes, it is a very unusual drug, with many effects.. So,while I don't recommend that you take it,I urge you not to dismiss its usage out of hand.

Besides a lot of distinguished individuals have used this drug in immoderation and it seems that they have taken more out of it than it has take out of them.

This chap's on a train without a loo, and he's dying for a dump. So in desperation he sticks his arse out of the window.

Half a mile down the track some workmen see the train coming, and one says to the other: "Hey look! You slap his face and I'll grab his cigar!"

Couldn't even tell you which ones - that was 12 years ago. I haven't touched a tobacco product since.

I believe at the time, the company was advertising itself as "a different kind of cigar maker."

Do you prefer the fifth wheel because of easier towing? I thought the master bedrooms, at least in my experience, were bigger in the travel trailers. On comparable lengths at least.

Different ones have their own unique flavor characteristics. If you like the MC Robustos, you should try the 1. The 2 is a bit stronger, but super great. I prefer the 1 and the 3 generally speaking because they're a bit lighter and the flavors appeal to me more... especially paired with a glass of bourbon and then later, a coffee porter or coffee milk stout beer.

So bad it's funny again. :P

And on topic:Yes, I smoke. In my profile pic it's likely a Behike 52. Last few years more often different types of maduros, though I really cannot seem to find a really nice maduro anywhere. So sometimes I'll just get an extra box of Cohiba Lanceros or something.

[/quote

My Grandfather used to smoke stinky White Owls. I used to wonder how anyone could smoke those smelly things. Just like my Dad used to drink cheap Peil's beer when l was younger. I tasted it once and wondered how anyone could drink beer.

The aroma of a fine cigar add a lot to the experience, but of course you don't want a bunch of smoke in your face. The best case scenario is to smoke in a well ventilated room where you can smell the aroma without getting all of that smoke.
