Close to 260 pounds here LEGIT. DAMN, imagine that version of him showed up onstage in March? Lights out for everyone else. Too bad we'll never see a Levrone in his prime against these one-dimensional hacks of today.
-
He said the other day that he was only 220 something at the 2016 Olympia and is aiming for around 20lbs heavier if he turns up for his last show.
-
pics like this remind me why i am a Levroneite :o

Looks great but I don't believe 260. Jay was around 260 and ripped at his very best. More like 240, but very impressive all the same.
-
I loved his even earlier look. This is actually excellent camera work and he's big, shredded and aesthetic.
Bigger we know is not always better.

Bodyweights are so subjactive. It makes little sense to compare two bodybuilders bw.
Too many variables like bone tickness. Visceral fat etc.

Of course. Enough of this bubble gut balooney we have today. >:(
It always amazes how Kevin managed to keep his waist in check even at his heaviest.

The golden 90s, when this was enough for 4th place at the Olympia

Both Arnold and Levrone has amazing, full muscle bellies everywhere, but off the juice, they both look like shit.
So full muscle bellies don't warrant natural size, interesting discovery for meh!
One more common trait, they have amazing width while on juice, in their natural state they look like avarage Joes with big noggin!
(Yeah, Arnold wasn't known for his delts, but even at his 70% form he was much wider than the rest of the line up in '80)
-
Levrone's rear latspread was pretty damn wide in 1998.

He claimed a few days ago that he was 223 pounds at the 2016 Mr. O. and I believe it. He claims to be 260 pounds currently and would like to show up in his 240's at the 2018 Arnold. 20-25 pounds of more mass (and hopefully on his legs too) WILL make a huge difference even though he's a year and a half older now.

He was down to 225 pounds for the 1992 Mr. Olympia and he HAD legs back then. I preferred his 1991 look better when he was 233-236 pounds at the Nationals/Junior Nationals.

He looked amazing I agree. I just love that 92 video because he had such a classic look and it's good camera work to boot.

You can't compare Jay and Kevin. Oil (Jay) doesn't weigh as much as muscle (Kevin) does. Kevin WAS in his 250's onstage in the late 90's (1997/1998). FACT.

Wow overpowering Ronnie is no easy feat.

As a lot of you may know, my sole focus is no longer 100% bodybuilding, but Kevrone looked great there!
-
Met Kev at the British Grand Prix this year. He was very impressive but not 260 pounds. He is pretty light framed. Weight is irrelevant though, looked incredible!

I was at the 98 NOC. Kevin looked great. It was very close between him and Ronnie. Ronnie edged him out when they turned around.
-
Nowhere near 260lbs. 240lbs at most. Hope this helps

I was at that show too and agree.
I was also at the 98 San Fran show two weeks earlier when Kevin beat Ronnie. Ronnie was huge but a bit smooth there.

This is NOT 240 pounds.

Holy shit this must be stretched out aspect ratio... no way he was that huge even in '97.

He was that huge.

The image still looks like it has some filter/manipulation going on, but damn. That's insane. LEVROWNED.

Nah. Different muscle shapes. Ronnie had round, yet separated muscle---striations everywhere, more conditioned. And a thicker chest. Kevin had round full muscles as well, but a different look, not as striated, and not as conditioned. When he came in lighter in his later years, he was more conditioned and you could see better tie-ins.

Great contest this was!
