Would you?
-
no
-
No, if I had a problem with a boss I’d rather have it out face to face than do anything indirect.
-
I like my boss so no.
-
Would you?
u will, and now u want us to hold your hand... and tell u its ok. its not.
-
Guess it would depend if he's a dick and if I was going to benefit financially somehow. Of course, if that were the case, I could simply kill him and steal his shit which is more primal and less faggy political.
So no. You shouldn't get him fired. Murder him and rob him. It's the honest choice.

dumbass employee seeks reassurance that hes right of peace.

If I worked for someone and didn’t like him then hell yes.

Do you have nice things?

Fellas... Dickheads... I didn't say I wanted to get him fired. I just asked the question.
I tell you, when the ADD brigade comes out they usually come out in full force.
-

"nice" is a word that doesn't really describe anything.

Oh right......
OK then, let me ask one...
Would you open a tin of peas if your wife went out for a tin of carrots 8 years ago and hadnt come back yet?

Not if they did not do anything wrong.
And for them to have done something wrong it would have to have some serious substance like if he were stealing, a pedo, really threatening to people. By real I mean as in he is using some kid of blackmail on an underling or he is physically threatening for no reason at all towards someone. If he was doing those things to me personally I would try to take care of that kind of shit one on one first in the very least but if he was doing that to someone, and I mean REAL, not purported taken out of context snowflake stuff then yes fuck him, or her for that matter
and when I also say serious I don't mean because he yells sometimes or he told someone they looked nice today or even if he asked someone out on a date.
I think we have taken that kind of shit off the rails these days and ruining people over nonsense, lies and half truths
-
That's the best way of all to ruin someone. It's not so much the ruination as the injustice which will really stick in their craw.
-
No.
A) my boss is a good guy, a visionary with passion
B) I doubt whoever replaced him would be as good to work with
C) I don't want his job
So in conclusion, no I would not.

Not enough information to answer your question.
Are you certain your boss would be fired?

Are you certain your boss would be fired?
great point... ones view is not always in accord with reality, and that ain't gonna end well.
the real question: how much do u value your job?
if u go for it... be sure, and go hard.

It's a dog eat dog society. Always someone waiting to backstab.

Anybody in the position to have "boss" fired would likely be in line for the job. If so, then take whats yours.

If he don't do it the next inline will & maybe then backstab the OP. sometimes even if the boss is a rat there could be a bigger one just waiting in line. when he takes over a new boss always likes to shine so changes come, mostly worse for the workers.
-
Every boss I ever had was an idiot...So yes, I would.
-
I feel like I owe him some loyalty for hiring me, so it's not a given that I'd try to get him fired. But seeing as I already do most of his work, it would make sense for the company to have me replace him. And sure, many people feel like they are better than their boss. But seeing as I am creating HIS 5-year strategy, and discussing that strategy with the COO directly, it does not seem unreasonable.

Snitch thread of peace.

Well, the thing is... I can get him in trouble anonymously, without getting myself in trouble. Firstly, by going directly to the compliance department at my firm, which has an anonymous line or by going directly to the authorities, again, anonymously.
Let me finish by saying that this guy has gotten many people laid off so... the temptation is there.

Seems you've never read 48 Laws of Power, 33 Strategies of War, or Atlas Shrugged.
Barbarians at the Gate, House of Cards, Art of Seduction, Book of Five Rings, & maybe Den of Thieves may also help.
Read those and you wouldnt be coming to getbig asking people who've been working for somebody else all their life how to play office-politics.

Others are just good at what they do and don't concern themselves with politics bullshit. It's pretty nice.

And being good at what you do provides opportunities. Only idiots pass them up.

I note that neither Dave nor Steve employed any sort of machiavellian shenanigans. I'll permit this.
Although I find it rather telling you didn't include a Jamal, a Jose, or a Maud (formerly known as Steve). Please imagine a visit to the imaginary HR dept at your imaginary office.

I don't see Jamal or Jose having any opportunitie to advance. This isn't Footlocker or joses uncles landscaping company.. Maud likely is HR.

I have never had a job, I have never been employed in any capacity whatsoever, this makes me an expert on the machinations of business employment and human resource practices....
