Dexter is a strong vote, based on longevity. He's certainly top 5.
This is actually a tough question, because you have to go by era and level of competition.

After Ronnie, accomplishments wise, I'd say Lee Haney, Dorian Yates or Arnold. As for who had the best on stage build at their absolute best... I'd go with prime Flex.

Would be Basil if he won Mr.Australia '75 & Nabba Pro Mr.Universe '75 , after 6 months of training but :P :P :P

I tend to agree. Paul Dillett had Goodrum-like potential, but failed to realize it completely on the stage.

20 pro wins, 4 olympia runner ups during the most competitive era that people still talk about to this day
at his best he had the most complete body, you have to nitpick his flaws, i can find tons of glaring flaws with the rest of them

If you compare those in the context of their era then Arnold will be King. But who is the best of all time then it would be Ronnie. Now who comes in second is a tough one. My choice would be prime Dorian.

A tie between Arnold and Bill Pearl. Pearl I think was actually better than Arnold, light years ahead of anybody at 1972(?) Universe (no schmoe-mo).

Bertil Fox, Andreas Munzer, and Ruhl are right up there.

Mike Ohearn. Tall handsome dude, always in shape. Blockbuster actor. Charity worker. Inclines 400 plus and gets millions to believe he's natural. He's a lock for second best, maybe all around best ever.

There are s fee choices.. Dorian (although he only did the Olympia and some grand prix), Dexter (who's a mini flex who's always in shape), flex had a great run in his prime.
Personally, even with their Mr O wins, I wouldn't include Phil or jay in the running for #2.. Or even #5-6.
Then thers's always guys like Roelly and Dennis James... They were bodybuilders 365 and looked great always, but just never nailed it onstage. Doesn't take away the fact they're a couple of the freakiest bbers ever.

Can't forget Iris Kyle. She may be female but she still holds records for most Olympia's.

You would have to have two categories. The current with insulin, GH and oil injections and before that. Still say no matter what era Arnold was the best. Tiny waist and size can't be beat.

Bob Paris and Berry DeMey. Two of the most near-flawless structures ever. At the 1983 IFBB Worlds a spectator commented of Paris, "he looks like he was put together by a computer."
In the late '80s I wanted to BE Berry DeMey.
