No PJ Braun really lost that one unfortunately at no point in time should PJ ever get caught dead with a fake watch or any other accessory even though he had gotten the watch for free at the same time the amount of flak that he's going to get or wearing a fake Rolex is simply not worth it I think PJ needs to go out and buy the most expensive Rolex watch in order if the put himself back in the status of being able to afford a Rolex watch if it was me wearing a fake Rolex watch no one would say anything however people expect PJ to have a lot of money and to be wealthy and showing wealth is simply not wearing a fake Rolex. Who is talking xxxl watches?rolex is not a big watch at all most are 40mm the only big watches they make are the deepsea and ymii and now sd43 and 43mm isn’t very big anyways,Also Rolex watches are the only watch that doesn’t lose value.Ive had somewhere between 50-100 Rolex watches as I’m a serial watch flipper and never lost money on a Rolex.as far as depreciation goes Rolex is always a great buy.

Rolex watches especially now since Rolex has been cutting supply to Authorized dealers prices have been sky rocketing.For instance the Rolex 116610lv aka hulk retails for 9050 And is selling now for 10500-11k,the 116500 Daytona’s are selling for 18-20k and retail is 12500,the Daytona’s always catch a premium but now all stainless sport models are catching big premiums.Gold,two tone and platinum not so much but stainless sport rolexes will make you money if you can get for right prices.Make friends with a Rolex AD and you start getting discounts after buying some watches then sell at a premium.

I am a watch aficionado for sure. I've bought and sold many. I like the look and feel, I also appreciate the craftsmanship and movements. This might sound obscure to many but it's just my thing.
In terms of the price tag. I've sold Hublot, Rolex, and AP and recovered almost all of what I spent. Typically with these 3 brands of timepieces you'll get 85-95% of what you spent. If they don't make that model anymore you would make more.

You are not alone in your thinking of 5k is crazy to spend on a watch but I’ve been a lover of Rolex watches since seeing my dads submariner when I was a little kid.I have since spent up to 22k on one and while crazy to you and most I’m not into houses,cars,boats,fancy clothes etc...So I work hard and buy what I like.Also I would much rather drive a 5k car and wear a 50k watch cause us not about showing off it’s just my taste and what I enjoy.i don’t dress nice at all but I have nice watches.

It's used, I think it's a 1997 model. I didn't buy it, wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred on a watch. It was a gift. I love the style, but not impressed with it's time keeping. It was recently serviced, I figured would solve the issue but I guess not. Next time it gets serviced, I'll inquire as to adjusting the time. I took a picture of it earlier today and in a couple weeks I'll compare the time and get the exact amount it is moving forward at.

New rolexes are times to better than -2/+2 and everyone I’ve had in the last 3-4 years was spot on.Rolex did have to movement hiccups years back but all fixed.
Also used,no idea who owned before or if it’s been serviced and how it was treated.
New Rolex warranty is 5 years on movement.used to be 2 then they upped it cause their movements are awesome.

Rolex authorized center and was bought new by a friend of mine and he had it serviced regularly over the years. Its not big deal, I'll have it looked at next time it's serviced. He had it serviced before he gave it to me and he hadn't worn it in years, he has a different one that he wears all the time. He likely had no idea it was running fast and didn't tell the person. I'll just adjust it once in awhile until its time again to get it serviced

Thats 2sec a day, still fits the COSC criteria. No automatic watches will be as precise as an analogic watch, thats not the point. If you want time 100% just look at the time on your phone and keep your money.

Like I said, it's not that bad. Now that I am aware of the time gain I can deal with it and I always have my phone. I was just surprised to discover such an expensive watch would be off that much.

I am a watch aficionado for sure. I've bought and sold many. I like the look and feel, I also appreciate the craftsmanship and movements. This might sound obscure to many but it's just my thing.
In terms of the price tag. I've sold Hublot, Rolex, and AP and recovered almost all of what I spent. Typically with these 3 brands of timepieces you'll get 85-95% of what you spent. If they don't make that model anymore you would make more.
