Stuff is pretty amazing lowers blood pressure better pumps harder erections super cheap too. I started taking it to lower borderline BP during bulk. Started working quick effectively. I take 2 caps 2-3 times a day. Along with half cap carditone.
-
Seems safe too and healthy.
-
I didn’t notice much when I took it. I used the powder. Maybe I used a bad brand though?
-
why dont you use the whole beetroot rather than just juice ?
It's working good maybe that's what is I'll check bottle when I get home. I believe it's healthy brand
-
Just take 6-8g of citrulline instead
-
I usually eat a beet before arm workouts and the pumps are retarded.

Not saying it doesn't work, but just curious if there is any legitimate research showing that it lowers blood pressure and gives better erections?

According to Wiki, it’s arginine that, when metabolized, releases nitric oxide. Citrulline is what’s left afterwards. So arginine is what you want.

From what I understand the body turns citrulline to arginine.

Don’t go to Wikipedia for supplement advices.
Here’s what examine.com has to say
“L-Citrulline is an amino acid. It is turned into L-arginine in the kidneys after supplementation, which means L-citrulline supplementation is a more effective method of increasing L-arginine levels in the body than L-arginine supplementation.”
“Supplementing L-citrulline also increases ornithine and arginine plasma content. This means L-citrulline supplementation improves the ammonia recycling process and nitric oxide metabolism. L-citrulline is also used to alleviate erectile dysfunction caused by high blood pressure.
After supplementation, L-citrulline is converted into arginine in the kidneys. Supplemental L-arginine provides a spike of L-arginine in plasma, while supplemental L-citrulline increases arginine plasma levels over a longer period of time.
L-arginine and L-ornithine are subject to reduced absorption when supplemented in doses of 10g or more, which can result in diarrhea. L-Citrulline does not have this side-effect, and since it increases plasma levels of all three amino acids, it is generally preferred as a supplement over L-arginine.”

Nature's way of telling you it is poison.

As far as I know synthetic nitrates are not legal to sell (heart medication, can low lower bp dangerously) so supps are relegated to vegetable extracts. But some of these "extracts" have been standardised to very high levels of nitrates. Can't be that effective since most pump products don't contain them.

Lowered my blood pressure some. Must work a bit.

Yeah they are very "drug like," which is why they are banned unless derived from a food. You have the sublingual "nitro" heart drugs which are nitrates. One company, Canadian AOR, actually made these mucosal nitrate/NO boosters but it was short lived, too many potential dangers. At least I think some were pulled, the active was potassium nitrate.
