Parker,
This doesn't exactly answer my own question, but check out who is listed under "Notable residents" in the Saint Kitts Wikipedia page:

Neil Strauss and Rick Wayne on the list as Bertil Fox.

Way ahead of his time.

Ah - I just noticed Neil Strauss. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't see Rick's name, although it could be a browser issue. That's sad if Bertil's name is on the list and not Rick's name.
As far as I am aware, both are still alive. I believe Bertil is still in prison, and will be turning 67 this year. At 5'8, he likely weighs 160-lb. I wonder what life is like in prison in a little island state like that. Although as far as I know, it is a prosperous little place. And with a population of only 35,000, the police and security guards may not have the same sort of fatigue as the police of, say, Mexico City or New York City.

I'd read years ago that he owned a publishing company, but something makes me think it was a newspaper.

Franco had better abs, IMHO

This may be the post I was thinking of:
Wild Willie, asked me if that story about Rick Wayne is true, yes absolutely true. Many years later I was working, well laying in the sun for a week, while on a stop over for the international airline I work for in Saint Lucia, where Rick originates from. So I went and found his gym and trained there for a couple of days. His wife, Mae Mollica, ran the gym. Rick at that time was into journalism and writing for the island newspaper. Though now he is into politics I believe. I always liked his quick, intelligent wit. He was too quick for Joe Weider, and probably too truthful as well.

Maybe it's better in jail, than swinging from a noose 20 years ago.

Insane pic.

Strange how he has been underrated and forgotten over the years.

I s'pose....
...do I?
Is the idea of 30/40/50 or more years of incarceration better than that other thing...? Try to imagine spending 2/3rds of your life following someone else's rules, eating the food you're given, sleeping when told - essentially an adult child..... sheesh.... gives me chills.... :P

Given that he was a competitive bodybuilder he's used to following rules. Come to think of it, the biggest rule of all translates perfectly to an incarcerated lifestyle:
Relax...you'll only feel a little prick. Now...Bend over.

After the first 6months things change. Every day is the same.. It's like Groundhog Day, & seasons, holidays, years just fly by.
It's only hard for the kids, or adults with maturity-levels of kids & problems with authority who have a really really hard time in prison. I think bertil is doing just fine by now.

Why none of his g4pay pix?

Yeah, but what about the boredom? The lack of (self-selected) stimulation? Surely there's only so much staring at the ceiling in contemplation that a man can do...?

;D

is he a bit overrated?

Okay, this is from Wiki, so take it for what it's worth: Wayne is the author of numerous articles and books on bodybuilding and politics. While pursuing a professional bodybuilding career, he began to write regularly for bodybuilding magazines, particularly Joe Weider's Muscle Builder and Flex in the 1970s and '80s (two separate periods of employment). He also wrote for Dan Lurie's Muscular Development magazine in 1994–95.
Wayne moved back to St. Lucia (where he now resides) and in 1986, in collaboration with his now wife, former US bodybuilder Mae Mollica Sabbagh, founded the Star Publishing Company.[3] Its publications include a newspaper, St Lucia Star, and two magazines, Tropical Traveller and She Caribbean. The St Lucia Star is a hard-hitting controversial newspaper that has incurred the wrath of both major political parties on the island.
