I’ve had it a few times when down in Florida.Gator nuggets and it really is like chicken just a bit fishy.

Had gator once.  I was drunk at the time, but I remember it tasting like a really tender steak and it was really tasty.  Like a steak that melts in your mouth.

My parents go down to Florida for the winters and I always have them bring me back some gator sausage. Good stuff.

Tried crocodile meat once - I guess it'd be similar. I was really surprised by how light it was - I was expecting something like a heavy tough steak but it was very delicate.
