I've heard this stupid genome argument before.
Well guess what pal, the mammalian genome is nearly the same for all mammals, including humans! Which means that we HUMANS also have a similar genome rats, dogs, bears, WHALES, bats and so on!!!
BUT... and here's the big BUT... the difference in the genomes dictates just what the fuck we are: COMPLETELY DIFFERENT creatures! So don't fucking tell me that because our genome is similar to a bat or a rat, that we should view rats and bats as our equal, or that the only difference between the races is skin color!
And if all the races were the same, we'd see the same results (civilizations and achievements) from them! We'd also see the same physiology, intelligence, habits, temperament and similarity in culture and language! BUT WE DON'T!

Good example is my college room mate. Super smart black guy, and by smart i mean straight A student thru nursing school.
However, after graduating, he worked for a year and decided he wanted to be a rapper. Proceeded to work 2 doubles every other weekend to pay rent (barely) and eat (our food not his), lay on the couch watching MTV, masturbate in his room, and occasionally work on what he called music. He did that for two years, and the last I heard from him he was sleeping in his car.
College educated guy, born into a good family, very intelligent. But STILL couldn't get his shit together even if he had a cushy job making $50 n hour at a nursing home where it was impossible to be fired.
