8) Remember guys, he's 53 years old. How many guys his age look like that? How many guys in their 20's or 30's look like that?
-
Big D77 should we also remember the list of compounds he s on as well?
-
I have enjoyed following his comeback over the past couple years but I’m starting to wonder what his long term plan is from here on out. I mean, is he planning to keep going all out into his 60s or what?

You bring up a good question, Mclovin. I think that Kev should just settle into a quiet life, watching movies like Superbad, and just enjoying his life with family and friends. Kev has a son - maybe he could help his son achieve his goals, rather than try to relive his glory years.
It must be pretty bad on a person's morale to be part of a hobby/passion [not sport] that results in you going back to seed within three years after retirement.
I'm sure in the off-season, there are UFC fighters who couldn't even win state championships in MMA - but you would never know that by looking at them. That's the difference. With bodybuilding, you can see a person's progress on their physique. They basically "wear" their talent. When you see Wayne Gretzky, you just see a healthy 57-year-old man. You would never know that a top high school hockey player would be able to outperform him. With bodybuilding, you can tell how far a bodybuilder has declined once they retire from competition. That can't bode well on a former bodybuilder's morale.

Irrelevant , He's a shell of his former self and that's who he's being compared with

Probably desperate for money.
This is like that Cutler comeback.
Needed money after divorce from Kerri.

Bit late innit?

I see no improvement.

What I find odd is that his calves haven’t improved. Generally you keep your calves

Vince, dude with the eye patch, is old and looked good. Beckles too.

I agree with all except the Wayne Gretzky part. A top high schooler may be impressive but Wayne Gretzky would still fuck him up. You're mistaking fitness level with talent in your example.

Sorry but the guy doesn't belong on the professional stage anymore.
-
His midsection still has fat on it.
-
He sure raped his own legacy when he came back. He sure looks very good for 53 but not olympia caliber good. I think it was a misstake to compete of him...

If he's making a living, it's not a mistake. At least from a financial standpoint. What's he going to do otherwise, revamp his singing career?
-
Victor looks great at 44. Eddie Moyzan is making his return at the North Americans at 45, to get his pro card, he should of had years ago.

So, when he career is looked back on by the whole 25 people in the world who care, a subset of that group will say "but remember when he competed in his 50s and looked bad?"
::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
Yeah, his "legacy" is ruined.... ::)

Traps, shoulders, arms, forearms & pecs are still there, all the rest is gone. In these circumstances there is no room for him among the competitive pros.

This !
"How many gym rats at 53 you see looking like Kevin ?" that question is STUPID....
Kevin is a decorated, hall of famer BB who in his first Mr.O contest took 2nd place .
Now just begging for attention and crapping all over his legacy by letting a lot of no names BBer beat him ,and making lame excuses
Will Not end well
SHAAAAAAAABBBBoooo WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

He should have learned from guys like Labrada who took 2nd place at the Mr.O more than once ....
retired in elite shape, made his own Supp company, and looks always in great shape with his hair and health intact
WoooSHHHHHHH BE YE KE

8)
You could have picked a more flattering pic of him now. Damn 2001 he looked very good.
-
It’s sad that he’s putting his body through hell, not because he wants to but because he has no choice to push his supplement line.

he doesnt have to even lift to sell his sups, kids will buy any old shit...
Do you think grown ups believe he takes his sups?

Why aren't people as harsh with aged rock singers (or singers in general) or musicians who aren't anywhere as good as they used to be, yet are still valued by their fans? This shouldn't be any different. Do you think James Hetfield of 2018 sound like he did in his prime (1985-1993), or Axl Rose of 2018 sounding anything like he did up until 1993? Hell no, yet they sell out every arena all across the world. Yes, it's a fair comparison, because Levrone was the best in the world at what he does.

You tricked me! I thought you were going to go through with it! With Kev's quote!
But you tricked me! Phuck!

Sorry but the guy doesn't belong on the professional stage anymore.
Agreed. He will probably end up looking like Kovacs.
SHABOOOOOOOM
-
More so, he’s got a problem with his back. One side doesn’t open up like the other, especially in his back double bi - which has always been a weak shot for him anyways. Time to give it away. Heavy juice at that age isn’t good. At some point Dexter will have to wind it back too.

Not a good analogy
Kevin is in a “sport” where it is judged on looks and looks only, Vanity, in a thong
-

yes he does, He can have current competitive bodybuilders and hot chicks pushing his supps while he's right next to them playing the "Weider type" of coach ..
Sadly his EGO is on the way, so that will never happen plus We all know he is addicted to attention.
WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Piss-poor analogy , This is bodybuilding the whole contest is based on your appearance and noting more. Kevin is being judged on who he's competing with and who he was before hand. Does Kevin look good for a 53 year old? Joe-blow? sure , does he look good for a 53 year old Kevin Leverone? no , Kevin was off in 2002 , he didn't compare to previous showings but looked good , Good enough to place high , but this is a slap in the face compared to what he looked like. Arnold took and takes a beating for 1980 and he looked eons better than Kevin does now.
Kevin was exceptional , a truly remarkable bodybuilder , one of the strongest , a winner , competed in the best era and racked up a ton of pro wins , this is just sad , he's not even 50% of what he was , I hate Shawn Ray with a passion but Shawn was right about him.

What's even sadder is that he can't go back to this look (Hollywood's lady) he has no hair He'd look like R.E.M singer .
WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH The X rays are in baby !

I love the reference. Believe it or not - R.E.M came to play at the Community Auditorium in my city of Thunder Bay, Canada.
I believe that it can safely be said that R.E.M was the biggest band to have ever come to Thunder Bay. The story I got was that R.E.M was the group that bridged the 1980s and 1990s, in terms of musical style. I have no idea if that is true, but I had no reason to doubt the person who told me that.
But yeah - for perspective, R.E.M is the biggest group we ever had come to my little city. Which speaks to its relative size compared to big cities.
WOOOOOOOOOOSSSHHH R.E.M VRO NEE

You should fear for my bank account more than anything. ;D
I promise...the woman I am currently seeing...she will be the LAST, THE VERY LAST, woman who I have babies with. She said one boy and one girl, and no more. But my hope is either two boys and a girl, or two girls and a boy. I think after two of the same gender, she would be willing to try one last time for the opposite gender, before giving up, Mark Dugdale-style.
Yep, that's it. Six kids, and then start enjoying my forties...with what little money I have left at that point. ;D :-X
PS - you would be disgusted if you saw how much I shell out in child support.

Seriously ??????? Use the money you still may have left and get vasectomy. I fear for your sanity. And yes I am disgusted. ;D

Really? You think Gretzky would be better than top high school players, even with Gretzky being 57 now? Are you talking about 9th graders or 12th graders? Because that would make a huge difference. I was thinking more along the lines of 12th graders.
But I don't know hockey very well, so I was just assuming there.

I think even Kevin knows that his time has passed. But the money and his hunger for attention...
-
hes gotta put food on the table some how.
His ex wife, ex gym owners made and put food on the table for him, he never had to lift a finger

I remember his singing career hehe! He wrote a song about Sally Mcneil who shot her husband Ray Mcneil. "Ohhh Sally what have you done!". He was a descent singer...The movie career was way garbage though...

Kevin is quiet the character

only idiots compare a 50+ year old bodybuilder to his late 20 year old self

there must be something physically wrong with his legs that they look as bad as they do, nerve damage or a back injury, I have managed to improve my legs at 53 doing relatively light training over the last 12 months..

The reason he gave was a long-term knee injury which prevented him from training his legs properly.
Though he said PRP injections worked in treating the tendon and allowing him to squat again.
-
It was retarded to make a comeback to olympia level competition at 53. Even at 51 in 2016. Its cool he took 13 years off the gym and got jacked again but to think you can be mr olympia or whatever is just to much. After you come abit over 40 your legs goes and thats just a bitch that you have to live with. I think he has a over the hill narcisistic persona. Booooom!

Yet he was squatting 500 pounds as far back as in 2009/2010
And he never took off 13 years of training or whatever amount he says he did

Should have paid Charles glass since he builds champions ::) :D
Waiting on Danimal to come on here and call everyone jealous hating losers

I get the Kevin has a fan base, this is bodybuilding and I am a fan of his physique. I also think it was cool he tried to make some sort of comeback as it brought excitement back to the Olympia and got alot of us a bit jaded interested again. talking about the first comeback(2016 O).
However, hardcore Kevin Levrone fans are up there with Michael Jackson fans, ie too forgiving, too blind, too emotional, too much in denial and borderline creepy with their obsession. I can imagine Kevin wakes up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat because he dreamed his fan based showed up in the middle of the night, took all the guns and knives he sleeps surrounded by and forced him to pose naked for them. Then they all said to themselves that indeed it looks like his legs did improve a tad

Chill bro! I am not saying it was a bad album. Maybe he should continue that path? It was actually a good album.
Actually im gonna listen to it right now. Ohh Sally what have you done......
-
I listened to that song again now.
"He will hurt you before i will" he sings in the end.
I know Ray was slapping her around from time to time. But was there more to it? Maybe Kevin was giving her some true olympia goodies by the side or something? I know he was close with Ray Mcneil. Maybe he did his wife too?
Wonder what Kevin meant by that?
-

Why wouldn't a guy who competes in the UFC not a state MMA fight off season? You really believe that they lose everything off season like a drug using bodybuilder? 12 months out of the year an elite fighter can still fight. Just a bizarre statement. A pro hockey player stops playing when his career is over like NFL and NBA players. If Gretzky still played in club leagues for the fun of it he would wipe the floor with most high school hockey players. After retiring from the NBA because of injuries Pistol Pete Maravich still played in club league games. He wiped the floor with players.
-
Im not sure what all the fuss is about...
He is a 53 year old drug addict-
There is a guy in every single gym across the country that looks as good or better than him...

bevo he will also call them stupid as well. levanal is the greatest responder of all time ! and the uncrowned king. bevo did you see were kevin is now training to become the worlds strongest old man and break the old man bench press record.

Fuck this bullshit! Who cares if he takes roids or whatever? Hes a very healthy person and is not into narcotics or drinking. So god bless the guy.
-
I dont care if he takes roids...
That is kind of the point that Im making in general-who really gives a fuck period?
This idiot wont see 60...
And by the way, I'm sure he is not "healthy"...
One cant balloon to 80 lbs over the weight that your genetics and God wished you to be, and be healthy at the same time.
It does not work like that my friend.
And, he most likely would be more healthy taking narcs and drinking.
Ive seen plenty of alcoholics in thier 70's and 80's, but never seen an 80 year old all roided up-
He looks a bit like Kamali, a fat bloated retard drug addict .

Mind posting a link to the bit where Kevin Levrone says he will be mr olympia in his comeback?
I just want to be clear, you see - since we think that Kevin is retarded for thinking that - seems like we should have the quote ready, yeah?
-
He made a comeback to mr o level competition in 2016 after what was it 13 year ley off? I think he ruined his legacy with that and his last performance. I still think he looks great at his age and all. Just not Levronish...

Michael Jackson is the most overrated entertainer of all time, guy is a pedo but fans will give him a pass
-

It's only natural to compare him now to when he looked when he was BETTER not only younger , Kevin promises he's 90% of what he used to be , reality says otherwise.
Bodybuilding you're constantly being compared to what you previously showed.
