Delusional.  Every time this woman opens her mouth I am thankful she is not POTUS.  The country dodged a bullet.

Clinton: Being a capitalist 'probably' hurt me with Dem voters
BY JOSH DELK - 05/02/18

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton says identifying as a capitalist hurt her in the 2016 campaign.

Clinton, who beat out democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) for the party's nomination, said in a Wednesday interview with Time Inc. Brands executive Alan Murray that her economic policies were "probably" a hard sell for many Democratic primary voters, as reported by the Daily Beast.

“It’s hard to know, but I mean if you’re in the Iowa caucuses and 41 percent of Democrats are socialists or self-described socialists, and I’m asked ‘Are you a capitalist?’ and I say, ‘Yes, but with appropriate regulation and appropriate accountability.’ You know, that probably gets lost in the ‘Oh my gosh, she’s a capitalist!’ ” Clinton said.

Clinton just barely edged out Sanders in Iowa's first presidential caucus of the cycle.

Sanders went on to win the first 2016 primary, in New Hampshire, among other states.

Earlier, at the Shared Value Leadership Summit in New York on Wednesday, Clinton had said that "the reputation of capitalism is pretty much in tatters for young people," according to Fortune magazine.

Clinton said that powerful companies in America are "disrupting our democracy" by worsening income inequality, and that one step toward fixing the problem would be voting Republicans out of office in 2018.

The Daily Beast reported that Republicans quickly seized on the comments, posting them on multiple social media channels.

She’s only a capitalist when it comes to herself.

Never mind the reasons behind it, I think she's right in the bold statement.

One of the strangest and most tone deaf statements from Clinton that I've ever read

I know a bunch of Bernie supporters and none of them claim to be socialists

I also know a Trump supporter who told me the country is becoming too socialist.  This guy works for the city and after working 20 or 25 years will get a get paid almost his full salary for the rest of his life and I suspect will also get health benefits for life.  This guy literally lives off the government teat and is complaining about socialism

Just had Bernie say what she's thought since the late 60s but was afraid to say...she owned him and his message.

Most Bernie voters don't know what socialism is but they sure know what "free stuff" is.

So you work for the city then? Figures...

Don't kid yourself - Republicans love free stuff too

Why would you think I work for the city (I always get a laugh out of Trumptard "logic")
