I'm a Dorian fan but I don't think he looks very good here

His arms were probably the worst they've ever been at that contest. He also looks flatter here than at the 1996 Mr. Olympia.

His bf was LOW..look at his face...he was flat but i believe he was trying to come really ripped. It wasnt his greatest look but after competing i realize the suffering and the work that it entails. I wasnt a fan of Dorian but after competing i have a different appreciation for different types of physiques and the look that they were trying to achieve. As i get older i m more of a fan of the classic physiques and not so much of the mass monsters. But i respect all

Interesting perspective.

If you look at photos or video of him from the German Grand Prix (which was within days of this contest), he looked like someone stuck an air pump up his ass. He was FULL and ultra tight, arguably in his best conditio ever.

Not a Dorian fan at all, but he looked fucking insane at that contest!  Easily his best showing!  Up there with Ronnie 2003 , Ruhl 2002 night of champions, and as much as I hate to admit it... Heath 2010 arnold classic.

This video shows why pictures alone didn't do Dorian justice.

He looks carved from ice.

Ronnie had some great looks, but this combo of size, conditioning and dryness has never been replicated on the pro stage.

Dorian came back pretty strong in 1995 after many felt Shawn Ray was robbed in 1994.

But it was all downhill after that.

By 1997, he looked bad. Injuries took their toll.

Bicep, Quad and Tricep were a mess.

Look at this Back Double Bicep picture.

He has zero bicep peak even on the right arm which wasn't torn.

El Sonbaty was robbed and I wasn't even a Nasser fan.

I was there and yes Dorian was way off. They handed him the victory just because he won the Olympia the week before. He only competed as it was in his home country. He didn't even bother to tan for it.

i was never a Dorian fan.... but i like his name(Dorian, like a gladiator name)...also..Ronnie even said in a past article before he(Ron) became a "Namer" he freaked out backstage when he saw Dorians back.... i was always a Leverone and Priest fan.... Leverone because i admired his structure and physique... Lee because he was short like me(5"5') and had freaky proportions. Flex was big back then too and looked great...but i couldnt identify with him. loved Kevin and Lee...back in my teens 95 to 98
