Laura Combes won Doris' inaugural 1979 Ms. Brandon (Florida) women's bodybuilding contest and went on to make women's bodybuilding history by winning the first women's Nationals in 1980.

RIP Doris Barrilleaux.

She died of acute alcohol poisoning when she was 35

Lynn Conkwright died last June but I don't recall any thread about it

Great lady Doris. Got to spend some time w/ her at a few AOBS (Strongman) dinners in NJ.
