You can fast forward through the construction.
Looks like a pretty good one and he has separate dumbbells etc. He has definitely learned from all the recent deaths and health issues.

Good arms on Chuck there.

A gym like that is for a guy seeking fitness. Not for a hardcore guy. He would be better off with Ironmaster dumbbells with a super bench with attachments.
Some pictures of my home gym.

I have a feeling he is getting away from hard core training. Love your gym and the drum kit! I used to do studio work on the side when I was a kid and was a good beat drummer.
Looking for ideas for a good mix in my finished basement. Dumbbells are a must because you can do so much with them.

My son's drums. He's in the Army with the Army Airborne and just got back for Afghanistan. He's more into guitars and the ukulele of all things.
Regarding dumbbells it adds up to a lot of money buying hex dumbbells from 25lbs to 100lbs plus. Power Blocks and IronMaster dumbbells might be the path to take. I used spin lock dumbbell bars forever. I can make 110lbs dumbbells very quickly. As long as you have waist high strong platform to make the dumbbells and to store the plates. I just saw on Amazon a company is pushing spin lock dumbbell bars and plates as an alternative to the expensive options. Since I have hex dumbbells from 80lbs to 100lbs I make dumbbells as needed with spin locks from 25lbs to 75lbs. I even fine tune them with some 1lbs plates I have. It's very quick to make dumbbells.
I'm training at a commercial gym for a change. It's good to train with other guys. I feed off their energy. On the other hand some of my best workouts have been at home. The music is always what I like too.

And fair play to him dropping to a cruise, but looking at the amount of caffeine in that Hyphy Mud he wants to lay off that sh1t too.... :P

Yeah, I was thinking of starting a thread over on the positive board about this. It's my big birthday next year, and I was going to treat myself to something - I'd posted about maybe an ultra-luxurious flight (on Emirates or something like that), then talked maybe about a nice watch.... But then I thought to myself why not build a nice little home gym? I haven't got a basement, but I've got plenty of land, so I was thinking of building a stand alone building - sort of a man-cave... must be fun just walking a few steps to train/eat/collapse LOL...
I've been having fun ever since trying to decide the ideal home setup for me...
First question - mirrored wall or not..?

Turns out I am apart of Team Hyphy ::)

Oddly, Kali used to bench 500 before he "got swole up". This was back in 2009, when he was training in a smaller gym. IIRC the way he used to train triceps was that he would lie perpendicular to the bench and do tricep presses.

Good for him. I'm sure that's for maintenance, and he'll still get to a real gym when he needs too. Also a lot of his work outs were machine based anyway, so this is more of a lateral move. Also if he's smart, he may of gotten it comped, and/or an endorsement deal out of it. Seems like a nice machine too.
The down sizing is smart. A lot of these huge Youtube guys are looking broken down more and more each year. And his name was coming up in a lot of the new steroid scandal talk, so there's that.
The bad part is that opening song is going to be stuck in my head.

Unless Dick's is comping him he bought it himself. I forgot he was on that list of people who were buying from that guy in Miami.

Yeah, I missed the Dick's stuff. I saw the Body Solid machine, and thought it was all from there.

Awesome home gym, used to have a nice garage gym when I was younger, had flat bench, incline bench, seated calve,pulldown,chin/dip,military rack, preacher and dumbbells to 120s and when I needed heavier I’d just take some duct tape and tape a 5 or a 10 on each side.best workouts ever in my garage cranking some ac/dc

I'll take my home gym anyday, but Chuck is smart, downsize, maybe do TRT, and you can stay fit/big with a Universal type thing and some bells.
For now, Ill keep my gym, if I make it to 60 (9 more years) i'll start downsizing it. (Or if I move).

Umbrellas are by far the most expensive part of a gym

I do, 5 AM daily these days during the week. Same gym that walterwhite used to go to. Its a good place, with only a few tool-bags there.
I use mine for the random weekend workout, or if I dont feel like going to the gym that day. My wife trains w/ me, and she prefers the commercial gym, so...

My gripe with hhf is the hours. Summer hour changes and not open 24/7 and on holidays (I live a boring life ;)).
Nice garage gym!
