President Trump announced early Thursday that he would be pardoning conservative author Dinesh D'Souza later in the afternoon.
"Will be giving a Full Pardon to Dinesh D'Souza today. He was treated very unfairly by our government!"
D'Souza pleaded guilty to violating federal campaign laws in 2014 and was convicted of a felony.
He was charged with illegally organizing $10,000 campaign donations from two people for Wendy Long's 2012 Senate bid, which she lost. D'Souza and Long were friends at Dartmouth College, and he remained a supporter of Long when she ran as a Republican for Senate.
Trump's decision to pardon D'Souza comes one day after he met with reality TV star Kim Kardashian about prison reform.
Kardashian has been advocating for a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson, a 65-year-old woman who is serving a life sentence in prison for a nonviolent drug offense. So far, Johnson has spent more than 20 years in federal prison

If he pled guilty - hard to see how this applies. He did get screwed by the Obama misadministrstion however as a result of his movie.

Burn.

Nice.

Nice to see that Republicans on this board support someone who pled guilty to violating the federal campaign election laws
I assume you will all be consistent and cheer when Trump pardons or commutes the sentence of Rod Blagojevich

We tolerate your gay ass to post on here so we can't be all that bad.

Did he violate the law? Yes. Was the sentencing contrary to pretty much most every other case (especially liberal minded folks)? Yes.
Kind of a hard one. Would almost rather see the other side get held to account/get the same sentence instead unless they want to change the law.
Really don't have a problem with it, though. Purely political move to jail him in the first place.

Fat dyke Rosie O'Donnell was caught breaking Federal Campaign Laws.
Nothing happened to her.
Shocking. ::)

I think at this point, if I was linked to the Trump Administration in any way, and had done something wrong.. If Mueller's team approached me about anything I would just keep repeating "F you and your mother". There is about zero chance I would be held accountable in the end.

If you were being questioned by Mueller's team (FBI agents), it would be a good idea to find different words to convey your message. Otherwise, they will find something to hold you accountable for.

So? I just wait until Trump pardons me and I'm good to go.

Donna Brazile was fired from CNN after leaked e-mails suggested she used her position to pass information to the Clinton campaign about upcoming appearances. Try and keep up

Looks like she resigned.
CNN announced in a statement soon after the email became public Monday that Brazile had tendered her resignation and the network accepted it on Oct. 14, days after the controversy over Brazile tipping off the Clinton campaign initially broke.
Was she ever charged with any crime? Surely giving a possible presidential candidate questions to a debate the night before is a crime?

I'm sure in your head, everything someone does that isn't for the Republican party or President is a crime.

So we have people admitting to helping Killary to win the election, you don't bat an eye, one of Killarys cronies makes an accusation about a fake Trump/Russia connection and you're perfectly fine spending millions of our tax dollars?
The most amazing parts are 1) you don't see the hypocrisy
2) you have no problem with Killary and Obama openly cheating to win an election

The 2016 election really showed how these leftists don't care about liberty, the Constitution, fairness, facts, etc.

I stopped reading at "So we have..."
Of course you did, you're a liberal, facts don't matter to you. ;)

The best part of Trump winning is the corruption being exposed. Now if someone would just step up and start filing charges against Obama, Killary, Mueller, Comey, etc...…..

can you give some examples?

Absolutely correct. I think the reason they were so brazen is they expected Clinton to win, so we wouldn't have learned about any of this stuff. Makes you wonder how long this kind of thing has been happening.
I really don't expect any major players to be held accountable.
But Obama had to know this crap was happening. No way the FBI authorized spying, etc. on an opponent's political campaign without him knowing.

So, when you respond to my posts like you have on many occasions with "I stopped reading at..." I can simply assume the same about you

Isn't the saying "square pegs into round holes"? BTW, you can't 'cure' something that's not an illness, but then you already knew that, right? ;)
-
Was she ever charged with any crime? Surely giving a possible presidential candidate questions to a debate the night before is a crime?
Is it? It's unethical for sure, but I doubt it is a crime.

Were 'Killary' or her cronies colluding with Russia to win the election? BTW, HRC didn't win the election and Trump did. What world do you live in? HRC and Obama are old news these days. Trump's in the news everyday, in case you haven't noticed.
-

So if someone does something wrong you are ok if they just leave/disappear? Weird. Most people want justice. I wonder what world you live in that you would be good with that.
-
Is it? It's unethical for sure, but I doubt it is a crime.
You are right collusion isn't a crime so why are you so into this fake Trump fairytale?
And if you are willing to put aside that fact and still want Trump, etc. investigated you are a complete hypocrite. You rail against Trump on something that has so far shown to be false and when your party blatantly does it you barely care.
-

Yes she was, actually. Story was on the news for a brief secpnd before it ws replaced with some liberal hit piece about Trump claiming he zigged down the hall when he clearly zagged. ::)

Maybe HRC was and maybe she and her campaign managers weren't colluding with the Russians. Either way, she didn't win the election and Trump did. If she had won the election, she and her campaign would be under the same scrutiny if there was any indication that that was how she got elected.
As for Trump zigging and zagging down the hall....he doesn't drink so that would raise questions about his health. ;D
-

Don't you hate it when you accidentally hit the wrong key deleting a carefully thought out reply? This just happened to me...so annoying!
HRC and the folks working on her campaign may or may not have colluded with Russia. If they did, it was a fail. The spotlight is rightly so on the winner of this election. Nobody gives a shit about losers. ;)
If Trump is zigging and zagging down the White House corridors, it would raise the question as to whether he lied about his abstinence or his health is compromised. ;D
